Congratulations are in order for Rodney Atkins and Rose Falcon, who married this weekend past weekend. The duo of country singers married on Sunday, November 10, in an intimate ceremony on Captiva Island, Florida.
Among the 20 guests in attendance were Atkins’ son Elijah, who served as Best Man. Additionally, Charles Hutchins, the founder of the Holston United Methodist Home for Children (where Atkins lived prior to adoption), officiated the ceremony.
The wedding programs were made from CD cases, while female guests received a handmade bracelet. The male guests received custom baseball guests identical to Atkins’. Prior to the ceremony, the guests spent November 9th fishing in the waters surrounding Captiva Island.
Congratulations to the happy newlyweds!
The final Pistol Annie is officially off the market! Congrats are in order for Ashley Monroe, who wed her longtime boyfriend, John Danks of the Chicago WhiteSox. The pair married on Thursday evening, October 24, at Blackberry Farms in Knoxville, Tennessee. The ceremony was held at the same location as Kelly Clarkson‘s picturesque wedding just four days earlier, and included the bride arriving at the ceremony via horse-drawn carriage in a custom Haute Hippie gown while her groom wore Armani.
The wedding was officiated by Blake Shelton, while the bride’s best friend and the officiant’s wife, Miranda Lambert, served as maid of honor. “They’re my dearest friends,” Monroe told PEOPLE. “And we wanted someone with personality to marry us!”
And Ashley was no bridezilla leading up to the wedding. “Miranda was the one who cared about all the details!” said Monroe to PEOPLE. “It was magical.”
Congrats to the happy couple!
It’s wedded bliss throughout the Kelly Clarkson fandom!
As we posted yesterday, the multi-genre superstar tied it up with Starstruck talent manager, Brandon Blackstock, this weekend. Yesterday, the new Mrs. Blackstock shared a few amazingly gorgeous pictures from the day leaving all of us on cloud nine with her. And today, she erupted twitter when she shared a beautiful wedding video. It’s the sweetest thing ever.
We’re all kind of obsessed with all things Clarkson-Blackstock right now, and we don’t mind one bit!
We couldn’t be happier for Kelly. Congratulations again, Mr. & Mrs. Blackstock! Thank-you for sharing with us!
Here is the video by her videographer, Weiss Eubanks. It is set to “Heavenly Day” by Patty Griffin. Perfect!
And in case you missed the pictures by Archetype Studio, Inc., check them out:
Mike Gossin of Gloriana (Tom’s brother) was one of his best men, along with older brother, Steve, while the band’s front-woman, Rachel Reinert, was one of the bride’s attendants. She wore a custom-made tuxedo corset in her role as “groomslady.”
“The attention to detail was amazing,” Reinert told PEOPLE. “Every little detail was so pretty, everywhere you looked was something of the period, all 1920s, Prohibition era, Art Deco themed. It was perfect!”
Congrats to the happy couple!
Ah, some people wait a lifetime for a moment like this. Congratulations are in order for Kelly Clarkson, who finally tied it up with Brandon Blackstock in Tennessee on Sunday. After months of gushing about her man, her ring, being in love, and all things wedding-related (except the idea of having an actual wedding), Clarkson and Blackstock are officially man and wife.
Kelly took to Twitter to share the happy news, tweeting, “I’m officially Mrs. Blackstock :) We got married yesterday at Blackberry Farms in TN, the most beautiful place ever!”
Earlier this year, the pair announced that they’d forego having Blake Shelton do double-duty as both minister and wedding singer in favor of a more intimate event. The two exchanged their vows in a small ceremony on Sunday at Blackberry Farms in the Smoky Mountains. The wedding was so intimate that Blackstock’s famous stepmama, Reba, wasn’t even in attendance. Instead, the two opted to have just their children (from Brandon’s first marriage) join them as they said “I do.”
The question now on everyone’s minds is when Baby Blackstocks will make an appearance. As has been reported as of late, the former “Miss Independent” has made it no secret that she intends to get pregnant immediately and wants Brandon to give her the gift of a baby for Christmas. Welp, that gives new meaning to the song title “Underneath the Tree.” Perhaps we’ll be hearing the sequel to Kelly’s song, “Tie It Up” in the next month or two, which will likely be entitled “Knock It Up.”
Congrats to the happy couple, and let the Blackstock baby watch commence … Now.
Don’t worry! Kelly Clarkson is still marrying Brandon Blackstock! However, after spending an abundance of time (that this music industry couple just doesn’t have to spare) on wedding planning, Kelly and Brandon made the executive decision to scrap their big wedding plans and simply elope.
Kelly explained to People Magazine that between her Christmas album, partnership with State Farm, Brandon’s responsibilities as Blake Shelton‘s manager, and the couple raising two children (from Brandon’s previous marriage), there was no time to plan such an extravagant event. The couple intends to exchange vows in the presence of a minister and Brandon’s two children, but will be celebrating with their friends and family at their newly built Nashville home.
Kelly’s latest video for her country single, “Tie It Up,” premiered last week. You can check out the wedding-themed video here:
It’s no secret that Blake Shelton is a modern-day Renaissance man. He’s a singer, host, Voice-coach, professional tweeting entertainer extraordinaire. However, he’s adding a new role to his repertoire: minister.
Now now, pick up your jaw from the floor. Blake isn’t dumping Miranda for a monastery or anything crazy. However, he will be officiating the wedding between his pals, Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock.
Although they have yet to nail down a date, Clarkson revealed to “Entertainment Tonight”‘s Nancy O’Dell that the nuptials will take place this October with Blake at the altar. Although some would be worried about entrusting their wedding to Shelton, Clarkson has the utmost trust in her bud’s poise. Plus, she’s admits, she’ll already be married. “Well, you’re technically already married when the ceremony happens. So it’s not like it’s gonna be null and void or anything ’cause it’s Blake.”
Clarkson also revealed that she already has a dress, and that she isn’t the only superstar Blake will be marrying! Watch the interview below!
Lady Antebellum‘s, Hillary Scott, and band drummer, Chris Tyrrell, had some very big news to share today. The couple took to Lady A’s website to announce that they are officially Mr. & Mrs.!
Scott & Tyrrell posted a sweet video message for their fans stating:
“We love you. We are so excited to be starting our life together. And we just had to let you in on the exciting news.”
You can watch the video here.
Congratulations to Hillary & Chris! We are so happy for you and wish you all of the best.
Here is an adorable picture of the newlyweds:
Almost months after the wedding of the year, brand new pictures from Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton’s down-home wedding were released today by their photographer, Robert Evans. The fun, unique, and totally Miranda-and-Blake wedding is considered to be the event of the year.
I don’t understand how some of these pictures never made it to print, they’re all fabulous! Evans makes it feel like you were there, and boy do we ever wish we were! Pictures of guests Trace Adkins, Reba McEntire and even Kelly Clarkson are on hand in a picture or two.
Check out the pictures on Evans’ blog HERE. Let us know what your favorite pictures are from the star-studded event.
Speaking of the Sheltons, it’s battle of the DVR tomorrow morning as both are set to take over New York City on two different morning shows. Miranda and her Pistol Annies will be on GMA while Blake performs on the Today show. Uh oh! Who to watch?
