VIDEO: Jake Owen Spends “Fallontine’s Day” with Jimmy Fallon

RCA recording artist Jake Owen was thrilled to perform on NBC’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on Valentine’s Day. In fact, before boarding the plane to NYC, Jake was telling everyone Happy “Fallontine’s” Day.

“Meeting Jimmy Fallon yesterday and performing on his show was such an awesome experience,” says Jake. “He is a true musician and music lover. Our dressing room had a piano and several instruments that we were all passing around before the show. It was really cool, and having the opportunity to spend Valentine’s Day in New York City was amazing.” Click on this link to view Jake’s performance of his hit single “Alone With You” on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

Jake is also selling out shows in record time around the country. He has sold-out ten shows to date in 2012. His show at Joe’s Bar in Chicago sold-out in 10 minutes so a second show was added. The second show sold-out the first day it was on sale. Yesterday, his show in Ohio on March 17 sold-out in 18 minutes.

2012 started out a little rough for Jake. He had to reschedule a few shows in January after breaking his collarbone while he was snowboarding during the BMI Songwriters Festival in Crested Butte, CO, but it seems as though things are looking up.

Jake’s current single, “Alone With You,” is Top-10 this week on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart and Country Aircheck.

On March 1, Jake will be a guest on Chelsea Lately, hosted by Chelsea Handler, which airs at 11 p.m. ET on E!

It’s the one day of the year fully dedicated to celebrating love – Valentine’s Day! JT Hodges shared a special gift with his fans today, a cover one of his favorite love songs, “The Dance” by Garth Brooks.

JT Hodges’ New Single To Be Released on Valentine’s Day

JT Hodges’ latest single, “Goodbyes Made You Mine,” will be available at all digital download sites tomorrow, on Valentine’s Day, according to Bill Kennedy, Show Dog-Universal Music’s Vice President of Sales, Marketing & New Media.

“JT’s new single showcases his unique voice and edgy style,” Kennedy said. “The song is a natural next step after last year’s debut ‘Hunt You Down.’”

Robert K. Oermann, a respected music critic, said in his Music Row review of the single: “this has a certain ‘presence.’ JT’s not only a solid writer, but his vocal performance is up-close and personal, packed with personality and exuding confidence. The deep-twang guitar and driving production are also pluses. A star is born.”

Nate Deaton// KRTY GM/ San Jose said, “JT has what we are always looking for; the look, the sound and the ability to stand out on the radio. He did that for us with “Hunt You Down” and “Goodbyes Made You Mine” will do that for everyone.”

Hodges made it to the semi-final round in the Academy of Country Music’s New Artist of the Year category. He burst onto the country music scene in 2011 with the release of his debut single, “Hunt You Down,” and a slot on Toby Keith’s Locked & Loaded Tour Presented By Ford F-Series. “Goodbyes Made You Mine” is the second single from the artist’s soon to be released CD.

Gloriana Sharing The Love With A Valentine’s Day Contest

It’s not one of our contests, but we like to share the love. In this case, we’re sharing the love with (and from) our friends in Gloriana.

With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, Tom, Mike and Rachel are playing the role of Cupid. Actually, it’s more like Cupid mixed with Santa Claus, because along with loving, it appears they’re in a giving mood, too. What they’re doing is giving fans a chance to win a $100 gift card, plus two tickets and meet and greet passes to the Gloriana show of their choice.

Their current single, (Kissed You) Good Night, is at number #32 in the latest Mediabase chart and climbing. In the video for that song, the guy does end up kissing the girl. But for many of us, that moment passes without us taking action. What Gloriana is looking for is your “should have” moment. They’re asking for fans to submit videos that are no longer than 15 seconds. The good news is, you don’t have to say a single word — everything you have to say will you write on posters.
