Reba video for “Somebody’s Chelsea” debuting on CMT

Reba McEntire help create the concept for her new video which captures a love affair told through a journey on an airplane. Trey Fanjoy, most known for her work on some of Taylor Swift’s videos, is the director on this project. CMT and CMT.com will premiere the video for ‘Somebody’s Chelsea’ on Monday, September 26th. A special entitled, “CMT Premieres: Reba – Somebody’s Chelsea, will precede the video and take fans on an exclusive look at what went on during the making of the video. The special will air at 8am on Monday.

Blake Shelton has been giving his fans a behind the scenes look at his new album, “Red River Blue,” over the last two weeks. He’s released a series of behind the scenes videos on his Youtube channel, from the studio and from on-set of the “Honey Bee” video. “Honey Bee” was Blake’s fastest-rising single of his career, and gave him another #1 on his birthday this weekend on the Mediabase country charts.

“Red River Blue” will be available July 12th.

Taylor Swift takes home Biggest Award of the Night

You didn’t have to be in attendance to win the awards tonight at the 2011 CMT Music Awards. Taylor Swift, away on her “Speak Now” tour, was live via satellite to receive her award for Video Of The Year. Her acceptance speech was cut out by a poor feed, however. Blake Shelton took home the most hardware for the night, winning the first ever Web Video Of The Year off-camera for “Kiss My Country Ass”, as well as getting the Male Video of the Year for “Who Are You When I’m Not Looking”. He accepted the later one by a taped segment while on the set of The Voice last night.

Sugarland took home the duo video of the year honors for “Stuck Like Glue”, and Miranda Lambert took home one CMT buckle for Female Video of the Year for the touching “The House That Built Me”. Director Trey Fanjoy was named the Video Director of the Year for her work on both Lambert’s “The House That Built Me” and Shelton’s “Who Are You When I’m Not Looking”.
