Tracy Lawrence Involved in Post-Concert Fight

Tracy Lawrence.

There has to be something about country music that makes people want to fight. This time, Tim McGraw or Miranda Lambert fans weren’t involved. Country singer Tracy Lawrence was involved in a post-concert toss-up after a disagreement between him and concert promoter Elmer Cole Jr when a few buses pulled out of the venue, blocking Tracy from getting to his own tour bus on Saturday, August 6th. The conflict happened after Tracy’s performance when he was on his way back to his bus, and was upset he could not do so right away.

Both parties were charged with disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor, and both received summons to appear in court. Tracy suffered face injuries in the altercation. Both Tracy and Elmer were transported to Mercy Tiffin Hospital by ambulance and were released after treatment. It was so hot that the sheriff had an officer on standby at the hospital while they were both there, but things had calmed down at that point.

Do you think country music is getting a little heated lately? Looks like it’s not just the fans anymore.
