Tim McGraw Finds Out Who His Friends Are

As we found out years ago, Tim McGraw, along with country music pals, Kenny Chesney and Tracy Lawrence, found out who his friends are. Well, Tim has teamed up with those friends to create a compilation disc, entitled “Tim McGraw & Friends,” scheduled for release by Curb Records on January 22, 2013. Colt Ford helped Tim out on the track, “Twisted,” which will be the first single off the special compilation disc. The album will be exclusively available at Walmart and will include 11 individual tracks:

DVR Alert: Faith & Carrie To Duet With Tony Bennett

Country superstars Faith Hill and Carrie Underwood are set to perform with the legendary Tony Bennett on his upcoming special on PBS that will highlight his Duets II album.

Both singers will hit the stage with Tony, with Faith performing “The Way You Look Tonight” and Carrie singing “It Had To Be You.”

Other stars that will be featured on the special include Willy Nelson, Lady Gaga, John Mayer, Josh Groban, Michael Buble, Sheryl Crow and Norah Jones.

Great Performances will air Friday, January 27 at 9PM on PBS.

Faith Hill fans waiting for her new single have a little gift this morning from CMT. Faith and Tony Bennett have released their music video for their duet version of “The Way You Look Tonight.” The two decided to keep it simple and classy in the video, with Faith in a long, black gown; and Tony in a black suit. Carrie Underwood Joins Tony Bennett Fundraising Concert Lineup

Carrie Underwood has joined the lineup to sing with Tony Bennett at a fundraising concert being help at the Staples Center on September 24th in Los Angeles. Also set to perform are John Mayer, Stevie Wonder and Diana Krall.

The concert will be presented by AARP and will raise money for Drive to End Hunger, focusing on older Americans.

Tony Bennett will be releasing Tony Bennett: Duets II on September 20th, in which he sings a song called “It Had to Be You” with Carrie Underwood on the album. They will also both appear on an episode of “Blue Bloods” on CBS on September 23, starring as themselves to perform their duet song.
