Miranda Lambert Loads Her “Pink Pistol” for Grand Opening

Miranda Lambert may be the reigning CMA Female Vocalist of the Year, but she’s about to add another title to her already-impressive resume: store owner. On November 23, Miranda’s store, the Pink Pistol will open its doors in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.

The grand opening festivities will include Pink-aoke for everyone to sing their favorite song, marching bands and, the 1st Annual Pink Pistol Princess Pageant. The pre-selected contestants will be judged on the creativity of their PINK costumes, their spunkiness and their sass. We have to wonder if Miranda will don her “Honey Boo Boo” Halloween costume for the pageant!

The store is described as one “For The Wild at Heart” and will carry a variety of merchandise, hand-selected by Miranda. The store will be stocked with handmade boots and belts from Corral, Farm Boy & Farm Girl clothing and home goods, items from Junk Gypsy including clothing, jewelry and other accessories plus much more. “It’s antiques, gifts, boots, jeans and pretty much everything you can imagine,” said Miranda.

It’s no coincidence that Miranda is opening her store on the biggest shopping day of the year. “We’re having the Grand Opening the day after Thanksgiving, on Black Friday, only we’re calling it Pink Friday,” said Miranda “We’re going to make it a tradition to turn the block pink every year at that time. Pink Friday will be country fun with some glitz. Tishomingo is the epitome of a great, small American town, and I am excited to dress it in my favorite color ‘pink.’”
