Jason Aldean continued his effort to support the fight against breast cancer with his sixth annual “Concert for the Cure,” which took place on Friday in Roanoke, Virginia. The sold out show raised $315,000 with Aldean donating all of the profits to Susan G. Komen For The Cure. The money will go to the local Roanoke effort in order to provide women with free mammograms.

Aldean shared:

“This is one of my favorite things we do all year and taking it on the road to other cities has been huge in helping us bring in more money for Komen. All of the money we raised will go to the local Roanoke effort, allowing them to give free mammograms to those who can’t afford it. We’ll pick a different spot for next year and try to beat it. October is a big month for raising money and awareness, and I have to thank my fans for doing their part! Seeing an arena filled with pink is just a really cool thing!”
