Jerrod Niemann Rocks Arizona State University

Jerrodniemann

In September, country music singer, Jerrod Niemann, announced his “Rock Your Room” contest to his fans. The contest promised to award one fan with over $700 in SONY electronics, as well as a private performance in the winner’s dorm room or home. After receiving over four thousand submissions, Catherine Willis of Arizona State University was chosen at random. Kellie Pickler No Longer With Sony Music Nashville

Kellie Pickler

We’re sad to report that it’s been confirmed that Kellie Pickler and her label, Sony Music Nashville, have parted ways. The statement was made today by her manager, Larry Fitzgerald, to ABC News Radio:

“Kellie’s contract with Sony came to an end and they mutually decided not to renew.”

100 Proof, which was released on January 24, 2012, was Kellie’s last record on her deal with Sony Music Nashville.

We’re not sure what’s ahead for Kellie, but we still see her making music in the future and we wish her the best of luck!

Kellie has been with Sony Music Nashville since 2006.
