CONTEST: Win An Autographed Copy Of Sara Evans’ Book — Our winner is Veronica, Congratulations!

Sara Evans has one of the best stories of the year. The CMA female vocalist of the year nominee made a huge comeback with the Hillary Scott co-write “A Little Bit Stronger” earlier in the year. The song launched her back to the top of the charts and put her on the track for a big comeback to the country music charts after staying out of the spotlight for a few years.

She’s back with her second single off of “Stronger,” and this one is just as good. “My Heart Can’t Tell You No” was released back in June to country radio, and debuted at number 54 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Charts. The second single off of her new studio album features alternate endings depending on where you were watching the music video – CMT, YouTube or downloaded from iTunes.

Did you know that Sara has also been hard at work with her own book series? She has two books she wrote about on a girl named Jade, from a small town who is getting ready to get married. We have your chance to win the second book in the series “Softly & Tenderly” autographed by Sara Evans herself! The contest is open immediately until Friday, November 4th at 2 pm EST. We will announce a winner later that night. The contest is open everywhere except where prohibited by law. The winner will be chosen randomly from correct entries received.

For your chance to win a copy of Sara Evans’ hardcover book “Softly & Tenderly” fill out the form below and tell us in the box who co-authored the series with Sara Evans. Good luck!

Sara Evans’ new single “My Heart Can’t Tell You No” might sound a little familiar. It’s a cover of a Rod Stewart hit of the same name, and she hopes it could be just as big. In fact, if she could have it her way, she’d turn it into a duet with the original singer.

Hear what Sara has to say about her single below, and let us know what you think of the second release from “Stronger.”

Sara Evans Obtains Restraining Order Against Ex

TMZ is reporting that Sara Evans has been granted a new restraining order against her ex-husband Craig Schelske after his appearance on Anderson Cooper’s new television show. She says he is damaging her children by attacking her in public on national television. He appeared on the program back on September 20th, and claimed he lost his kids because Sara lied about him being obsessed with porn.

The interview violated a temporary injunction Sara had against Craig which prevents him from badmouthing her in public. She first obtained this injunction in 2010. She put in the request for the restraining order the day after the episode aired.
