Rodney Atkins to Perform for Ohio Romney Rally

Rodney Atkins will be part of a rally tomorrow in Ohio supporting American Presidential candidate Mitt Romney. The rally will take place in Springfield, Ohio and will be led by American Senator Rob Portman who will promote the Republican ticket. Rodney’s performance will be a free concert.

Rodney’s current album “Take A Back Road” is out digitally and physically right now. The Curb Records artist released his new music video for “Just Wanna Rock N Roll” earlier this month.

Curb Records artist Rodney Atkins will be appearing on tomorrow morning’s episode of Fox & Friends on the Fox News Channel. The country music star is the finale to the “All American Summer Concert Series” for the station. He’ll be performing his hit single “Take A Back Road” and his brand new current single “I Just Wanna Rock And Roll” during his time in the 8 am EST hour.

In other Rodney news, his hit single “Cleaning This Gun” has been featured in the number one movie in America, “The Bourne Legacy.” The single, which was originally released in 2006 as the fourth single off of his “If You’re Going Through Hell” album. Rodney Atkins Performing At Republican Convention

Curb Records country artist Rodney Atkins will be making a special stop in Tampa, Florida on Sunday, August 26th. He’ll be headlining the Republican Party’s “Welcome Home” event in the afternoon. Other appearances at the Republican National Convention include a performance by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleaders, the Tampa Bay Rays street team, the University of South Florida’s marching band, Tampa Bay Lightning dancers, local contestants from American Idol and The Voice, and performers from Cirque Dreams from Busch Gardens.

Darius Rucker & Friends Line-Up Announced

The third annual Darius Rucker and Friends line-up has been announced, and Monday should be a great time! The event, which raises money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Nashville, includes a celebrity golf tournament and concert at the Wildhorse Saloon. Special guests expected to appear include Sunny Sweeney, Clint Black, Rodney Atkins, Chuck Wicks and a few more surprises. Doors open at 6 pm and the concert kicks off at 7:30 pm in downtown Nashville. Event posters and t-shirt sales from the night will directly benefit St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital

“We’ve had so much fun the last two years with friends jamming on stage for a great cause,” says Rucker. “I’m excited to continue that tradition with this year’s event.”

The Hootie & The Blowfish frontman is working on his third solo country album with producer Frank Rogers. The record will serve as the follow-up to 2010′s “Charleston, SC 1966″ and his now-platinum “Learn To Live” from 2008.

Rodney Atkins Gives Back

Country megastar, Rodney Atkins, will host the “2nd Annual Music City Gives Back” benefit concert on Tuesday, June 5th, in Nashville, Tennessee.

The show, which begins at 5:00pm, will feature an all-star lineup, including Clint Black, Thompson Square, Lee Brice, Josh Thompson, Jana Kramer, The Farm, Mallary Hope, and The Willis Clan. With the help of sponsors Wrangler, Cricket Wireless, Carl Black Chevrolet, and GAC, fans will be able to enjoy a night of great music at no cost and have the opportunity to contribute to the American Red Cross. Donations may be made on-site.

“Last year was such a great experience to close down Broadway and to raise money and awareness for the American Red Cross we decided to do it again. This is an organization that helps so many people in all of our communities and they need support not just when disaster strikes. Looking forward to getting out there and working with Wrangler Western Wear and Cricket’s Muve Music to raise awareness and party with everyone in Music City,” said Atkins.

As of May 21, “Ronnie Dunn – Special Edition” will be available exclusively in Cracker Barrel stores and online at crackerbarrel.com. Although the bulk of the CD was previously released by Dunn in 2011, this exclusive features two unreleased bonus tracks. Additionally, a portion of sales from this CD, which costs $11.99, will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project.

Ronnie Dunn specializes in songs about real life and real love, combined with rich patriotism. “More than ever before, I feel as though this album gave me a chance to tell my own story through songs that mean a lot to me,” says Dunn. “And it’s particularly gratifying because, by working with Cracker Barrel, a portion of the CD retail sales will be donated to Wounded Warrior Project. Today’s the day that Rodney Atkins fans have been waiting for. The singer released his brand new music video for “He’s Mine” to iTunes today. The premiere marks the second single from Rodney’s “Take A Back Road” album on Curb Records. The video, directed by Ry Cox and produced by Iris Baker, features father-son pairs through the years from rebellion to adulthood. It actually has a special cameo from Rodney’s own father in one of the scenes. The music video is available for purchase here on iTunes right now.

2012 Country Throwdown Tour Announces Lineup

4 FINI Inc. announced today the star-studded line-up for its highly popular Country Throwdown Tour. The third-annual, outdoor amphitheater trek will feature an impressive lineup that will deliver energy-packed, exhilarating performances to eager country fans in 20 cities.

Joining headliner Gary Allan, recording artists Josh Thompson, Eric Paslay, and Sunny Sweeney round out the high-profile lineup for the nationwide country music tour that will kick off in Gulfport, Mississippi on May 18 and run through July 8. Special guests on many tour stops, Rodney Atkins (June 1-30) and Justin Moore (May 18-27) will join the roster of superstars and newcomers for the ultimate country music experience.

Gary Allan, country’s modern day outlaw, has won over legions of fans with his signature blend of rugged vocals, rebellious lyrics and raucous live performances. With more than seven million chart-topping albums sold and nearly a dozen Top 10 hits to his credit, Allan sets the tone for what promises to be a dynamic concert event in each and every tour city.

“I’ve always been a fan of the Warped Tour, so I thought it was great when they came up with the concept of doing a country version of it with the Throwdown Tour.
