Tyler Farr has many milestones to celebrate lately!
His number one hit single, “Redneck Crazy,” has been certified platinum by the RIAA. Farr was surprised with his commemorative plaque at the Sony Music Nashville CMA Party.
“Redneck Crazy” is the lead single for Farr’s debut album of the same name, which was released in late September. Redneck Crazy, which opened at number two on the Billboard Country Albums Chart, is the biggest selling debut album by a male country artist since 2011.
In addition to celebrating his new platinum status, Farr has also been nominated for the CRS 2014 New Faces Country Music Show.
Farr’s newest single, “Whiskey In My Water” is impacting country radio and climbing the charts. He is currently on the road with Florida Georgia Line, and will join Jason Aldean on tour next year.

Luke Bryan added another accomplishment to his repertoire this week with his Crash My Party album reaching Platinum certification by the RIAA just six weeks after it’s release. The album, which was released on August 13, debuted at number 1 on the country chart, selling 527,783 units in its first week.
Luke’s current single, “That’s My Kinda Night” was the highest debut single of Bryan’s career, and has been the number 1 country selling single for six weeks. He is about to embark on his fifth “Farm Tour 2013,” playing eight shows in October with special guests including Chancie Neal, Cole Swindell and the Peach Pickers- Rhett Akins, Dallas Davidson and Ben Hayslip.
It must be tough being The Band Perry these days. They’ve got a prime touring gig with Rascal Flatts, a multi-week #1 hit and a forthcoming album, Pioneer. Additionally, it was just announced that “Better Dig Two” has been certified Platinum by the RIAA, for sales over one million copies. The song is both the first single off their hotly-anticipated new album, as well as the fastest-rising song of their career.
As they prepare to release Pioneer on April 2, the talented trio recently revealed their album tracklisting.
Released on April 2, the Dolly Parton and Cracker Barrel two-disc set, “And Evening With…Dolly” has been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). This certification is a first for Cracker Barrel and the first for Dolly Records in the United States. Recorded in London, the album is also the first two-disc set released by Cracker Barrel. It is available for $11.99 exclusively at all Cracker Barrel locations and online at www.crackerbarrel.com.
“I’m thrilled that so many fans are listening to my songs and taking a look behind-the-scenes of my European tour,” said Dolly. “I had a wonderful time performing in London and I think the audience did too. It’s exciting to be able to share my experiences with Cracker Barrel fans. And I have to tell you, I’m even more excited that An Evening With…Dolly earned the first Gold in the Cracker Barrel exclusive music program. That’s just icing on the cake.”
The hits continue for Luke Bryan!
Bryan’s new single, “I Don’t Want This Night To End,” has been certified gold by the RIAA. The song is the second single from his gold album, Tailgates & Tanlines, and the follow-up to his massive platinum hit, “Country Girl (Shake It For Me).”
This past week alone, the single sold 128,000 downloads and marked Bryan’s biggest digital sales week of his career. The song is also in the top 5 on the country radio charts and climbing.
Congratulations to Luke!
