]]> The Band Perry have been announced as one of the performers for MTV’s “O Music Awards 2.” The award show recognizes artists in all genres of music involved in digital/online culture. The show airs lives on the internet on Monday, October 31st on the award show’s official site.

The show’s official website says it will honor the best in digital music, including Twitter, Facebook and music apps for your phone and iPods.

Country music nominees include Blake Shelton – “Must-Follow Artist On Twitter,” Dolly Parton – “Best Vintage Viral Video,” and Taylor Swift – “Fan Army FTW.”
