Dierks Bentley To Perform at NHL Awards in Vegas

Looks like country fanatic Dierks Bentley will get to rub shoulders with hockey greats in Vegas. He’s been invited to perform his newest single, “Am I The Only One,” live at the National Hockey League Awards in Las Vegas on June 22nd. The awards will air live on CBC and on Versus at 7 pm EST.

Bentley had partnered up with the NHL by producing an alternate version to his music video to feature all thirty NHL teams to celebrate this year’s playoffs. The Boston Bruins won the Stanley Cup earlier this week in a game seven victory over the Vancouver Canucks.

The NHL Awards celebrate the league’s best of the year.

Dierks Bentley: Hockey Superstar?

Country music and the NHL have teamed up again, but this time without the help of Carrie Underwood and hockey husband Mike Fisher.

Dierks Bentley has released a special hockey version of his new music video, “Am I The Only One,” on CMT this morning.  Bentley has been playing hockey since he first moved to Nashville in 2000 and is often seen skating around Nashville with members of the Nashville Predators hockey team when he’s off-stage.

Bentley plays with the Nashville Iceholes every Saturday night when he’s not on the road. Check out his video blog from January with his hockey team under the jump.
