Sarah Darling Wishes You a Merry Little Christmas

Sarah Darling Christmas

Sarah Darling will be releasing a four song EP, entitled Have A Merry Little Christmas Darling, on iTunes Tuesday, November 19.  The new, independently released EP will feature classic Christmas songs, intricately crafted to Darling’s “crisp, powerhouse voice,” as stated by The New York Times. Sarah believes that this EP  is the best representation of herself as an artist in a holiday timepiece. “You will hear so much of who I am in every track and will be taken away to nostalgic times of Christmas past. It was such a magical project to record,” she says.

Have A Merry Little Christmas Darling Track Listing:

1.) “The Christmas Song” (“Chesnuts Roasting On An Open Fire”)
2.) “River” (original by Joni Mitchell)
3.) “I’ll Be Home For Christmas”
4.) “Silent Night”

Additionally, tickets are currently on sale for the “Sarah Darling and Friends Acoustic Christmas” concert at The Franklin Theatre in Franklin, Tennessee on December 13th, where she will debut the new tracks alongside  special guests. You can purchase tickets now by clicking here.

The New York Times Honors Eric Church

The New York Times, a highly-coveted American daily newspaper, compiled a list of the best live events of 2012, according to its internal pop and jazz critics. In 2012, Grammy nominated artist, Eric Church, solidified country music’s place on The New York Times’ list as the only country act to be recognized. The critics described Eric’s Hammerstein Ballroom performance on March 14th as “[a] mean show, as these things go. Mr. Church has clawed his way into the country mainstream with a series of post-outlaw anthems, and he delivered them with verve and tension, as if he might not be allowed to for much longer.”

Congratulations to Eric Church on this exciting honor and for ensuring that country music gets a nod from one of the most prestigious publications in the world!
