]]> There is no denying that Julianne Hough is a triple threat, and the country sweetheart has just landed another big-screen gig. This spring, Hough is set to star in a new movie opposite Russell Brand. The project is still untitled, but Hough will be playing a young woman who questions her faith after surviving a plane crash and subsequently gets lost in the excessive nightlife of Las Vegas.

Film credits to Hough’s name include Burlesque, Footloose, and Rock of Ages. Footloose marks her first lead role and hits theaters on October 14th. Production on Rock of Ages has wrapped and is slated for release next June.
