Miranda Lambert is asking for some help from her fans this week to help her find homes for abandoned puppies in Oklahoma. She found the abandoned set of puppies at a Day Care in her new home state, and she is trying to find loving homes for all of them. They are German Short-Haired Pointers, and they are healthy, happy, and about 7 weeks old. There’s also an older puppy, a 9 month old black Lab mix, who is guessed to have joined the puppies when they were left behind.
Miranda’s charity, Muttnation Foundation, says that all the dogs are friendly and great with kids and used to cats. Here’s a little bit on their personalities:
Conway – The black 9 month old male. Neutered. A little shy. Miranda says “he could be the soul mate to her newly adopted Loretta”.
Jackson Brown – The personality of the bunch. Loves everyone and everything. He is the runt of the litter. Miranda says “he’s got to be somebody’s baby and you need him if you are runnin’ on empty!” **He is also her personal favorite.
Cabella – she is the black and white female. Lots of personality and loves people and kids. She is the life of the party. Miranda calls her “confident and sweet and a little fiesty, an honorary Annie ….Puppy Annie.”
Bentley – He is the classic phrase cuter than a “speckled pup”. He loves to be held and doted on. Miranda says he is “her freckled-faced little mama’s boy”.
Whitley – named by Blake. He is the most gentle and laid back of the bunch. Very chilled out personality. Miranda says he is “a fuzzy little gentleman”.
Ms. Danks – named after the Chicago White Sox. She has 4 perfectly white paws with no specks. She was named in honor of Ashley Monroe (whose boyfriend, John Danks, plays for the Sox.) Miranda calls her “petite and polite with a lot of love for everyone”!
