Australian country music trio The McClymonts have released a brand new single to radio. “I Could Be A Cowboy” is their latest tune from their hot album “Wrapped Up Good.” The single, which was produced by Nathan Chapman of Taylor Swift fame, was co-written by Nathan and the McClymonts together. The trio will perform their latest single as part of CRS in Nashville in Margaritaville on February 21st. Their performance will be part of the tenth annual Musicrow CRS Meet & Greet at the Country Breakout Awards.
On their new single, Sam McClymont said:
“‘I Could Be A Cowboy’ shows our softer side and vulnerability. You can choose to be independent and strong but sometimes you just need love and to be in someone else’s arms.”
The McClymonts will be making their debut Grand Ole Opry performance on September 9th, 2011. The Australian all-female country music trio moved to Nashville and started their own BSM Music with Universal Music Group. Their first album “Wrapped Up Good” hits shelves in the United States on August 23rd. They had toured with Jason Aldean last year, and are currently on their own tour at county and state fairs.
The girls had dominated the country charts in Australia in 2010 with their debut album, which hit Australian stores last year. Their album outsold Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Alan Jackson, and Kenny Chesney in their homeland. “Wrapped Up Good” was one of the top 5 bets selling albums of the year in Australia and hit number one right on release.
