]]> Congratulations to the team at Universal Music Publishing Group and Lori McKenna! According to Music Row Magazine, they’ve announced that they’ve extended their publishing deal with the singer-songwriter, who originally signed with them in 2009. Lori has written songs for superstar artists Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood, Allison Krauss, Keith Urban, Sara Evans, and LeAnn Rimes. She’s also been writing lately with Taylor Swift, Little Big Town and Wynonna.

 

“Lori McKenna is one of the most highly regarded talents in the Nashville songwriting community and beyond,” said Kent Earls, Executive Vice President/General Manager, Universal Music Publishing NashvilleLor. “We couldn’t be more thrilled to continue our relationship with her and look forward to our future successes.”

Lori has her own song, “Two Soldiers Coming Home,” on the Act of Valor soundtrack. She has previously released an album on Warner Brothers in 2007 titled “Unglamorous.”
