Recently signed Way Out West Records artists LiveWire have just released their first music video! The song is called “Tater Fed” and is their current single. “Tater Fed” has made its way into the 40′s on the Music Row chart, is currently topping charts in Europe, and is off of LiveWire’s self-titled EP released on June 28.
The music video was directed by Flick Wiltshire (Jason Sturgeon/Tracy Lawrence) which was shot at various locations in Southwest MO, and at J.R. Spanky’s, a hot spot nightclub in Grove, Oklahoma, where the band performs on a regular basis. The video for “Tater Fed” captures the group in their rural homegrown environment and provides the perfect visual backdrop for the song that Music Row’s Robert K. Oermann called “a stirring backwoods rocker.”
“Tater Fed” is being supported by a national promotion lead by Craig Bann of AristoMedia.
LiveWire is based in Joplin, Missouri and is made up of lead guitarist Bobby Degonia, lead singer/acoustic guitarist Andy Eutsler, drummer Adam Hagerman, fiddle player Cory Shultz, rhythm guitarist Danny Bell and bassist Landon Rolfe.
Country group LiveWire are releasing their debut 6-song EP today on iTunes. The Joplin, MO band’s debut single, “Tater Fed,” is currently racing up the US country charts. Their second single, “Heart Burn” is #6 on the HotDisc Top 40 chart in Europe.
The release of their EP is a milestone for the band, who have been together for over a decade. They were formerly the 2009 finalists in the Colgate Country Showdown in Nashville, and they have also performed at the Ryman Auditorium. They are one of the top-drawing live acts in the Midwest and pack venues in their neighboring states of Oklahoma, Kansas and Arkansas.
The group is a blend of “working man’s country” and Southern rock. The 6-song original EP is available at Amazon, CD Baby, iTunes and any digital retailer today.
