]]> After the success of Reba McEntire‘s first sitcom, “Reba,” it should come as no surprise that the superstar’s sophomore situation comedy project has already taken off and made huge strides!

“Malibu Country” premiered on Friday night in the 8:30pm time slot on ABC and drew in 8.9 million viewers. Reba’s new show is about a Nashville-stationed country singer (cleverly named Reba) who finds out her husband has been cheating on her. As a result, she picks up her life and moves herself and her children to Southern California in an attempt to start over. “Malibu Country” also stars Lily Tomlin and Sara Rue. Plus, rumor has it we will be seeing Blake Shelton and Kelly Clarkson making cameos soon enough!
