Congratulations to Brett, Justin and Kip! It’s sure to be a tough race.
Kip Moore continues to shine!
“Young Love,” the lead single from his upcoming album, is currently climbing the charts and marks his fastest rising single to date. At this rate, Moore may soon be able to add it to his growing collection of number one hits: “Somethin’ ‘Bout A Truck,” “Beer Money” and “Hey Pretty Girl.”
While the ACM New Artist of the Year nominee is now on tour with Lady Antebellum, he headlined his own SOLD-OUT show at The Rave in Milwaukee this past weekend where he performed tracks from the upcoming album as well as his hits.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel observed, “The vivid characters and experiences in Moore’s songs, carried by the singer’s gritty vocals, have resonated with fans.” Well, I sure do love his gritty vocals!
We predicted that Moore was going to make an even bigger name for himself in 2014, and it seems he is well on his way to doing just that!

Lady Antebellum is thrilling fans night after night on the road, and this past weekend, they took Boston “Downtown” with a sold out show at Boston’s TD Garden. The Boston Herald praised the trio, observing they were “having the time of their lives…the Nashville-based trio delivered a 90-minute, high-energy show that was chock-full of golden moments.”
Additionally, the Boston Globe had similar praise, writing, “And when their voices locked into pristine harmony on such tunes as foot-stomping opener ‘Compass,’ wistful ‘Just a Kiss,’ and propulsive ‘I Run to You’…a sold-out crowd at the TD Garden Friday night was happy to take the ride.”
This weekend, the TAKE ME DOWNTOWN TOUR will stop in Minneapolis, MN and Grand Rapids, MI with special guests Kip Moore and Kacey Musgraves. For a full list of tour dates and for ticket information, visit www.ladyantebellum.com.
We all know that Kip Moore had a big year in 2013, but expect him to make an even bigger name for himself in 2014. I personally just cannot get enough of his raspy yet smooth vocals; he’s one of my new favorite country voices.
After great success with “Somethin’ ‘Bout A Truck,” “Beer Money” and “Hey Pretty Girl,” the ACM “New Artist of the Year” finalist recently released his latest single, “Young Love.”
With the song currently climbing the charts, CMT and iHeartRadio premiered the music video yesterday.

Great news, country fans… Lady A is extending their Take Me Downtown Tour!
With approximately 36 new dates added, that brings the trek to about 80 cities. The tour will now run throughout the summer with the next leg beginning on March 22 in Phoenix, AZ at Ak-Chin Pavilion.
The trio is excited to bring the show to more fans and give it their all every night. “The energy from the crowds on opening weekend was like a drug…it was totally intoxicating,” said Charles Kelley. “It felt so unbelievable to be back on stage together, and each night was better than the last. We’re going on to North Dakota this weekend and from now through the summer amphitheater shows, we’re going to try and raise the bar night after night.”
Kip Moore and Kacey Musgraves are currently out on the road with Lady A, and will continue on for the early summer shows. A combination of Billy Currington, David Nail and Joe Nichols will open for the remainder of the new dates.
TAKE ME DOWNTOWN TOUR 2014 North American Summer Dates:

The CMA’s are upon as once again, so the Keepin’ It Country Staff narrowed down our picks for the night’s biggest awards. Let us know who you agree with!
Entertainer of the Year Nominees: Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, George Strait, Taylor Swift
Nicole: It’s not an easy choice here, and there’s definitely the obvious inclusion of George Strait for sentimental reasons, but I have to give this to Blake. He played a huge summer tour, anchors the judging panel on The Voice season after season and put out quite a few huge hits. He’s arguably the biggest thing in country right now so I have to give it to him.
Jessica: Luke Bryan has had a huge year, and I think he’s taken one of the top spots in country music right now. You can’t deny those dance moves!
Jennifer: Luke Bryan – With sold out shows across the country and yet another #1 hit song (despite Zac Brown’s disdain for said song), no one is killing it on radio or on the road quite like Luke.
Jeanna: Blake Shelton or Taylor Swift? Both have really helped broaden the country music audience and impact the genre in such a significant way. Taylor is massive with her sold out tours worldwide and cross-over success. Blake is the face of the genre at the present time, and he has helped put country on the map and bring it to focus with The Voice. Luke Bryan had a big year and is a possibility too. However, I feel like it’s Blake’s time for this right now so I’m giving this one to him.
As was recently anticipated on Twitter, Lady Antebellum announced today that they will be pushing back the beginning of their Take Me Downtown Tour until January 10, 2014. The mega-trio posted on their website:

Platinum selling singer/songwriter Kip Moore is nominated for his first CMA Award in the “New Artist Of The Year” category just weeks after celebrating his third consecutive No. one hit from his debut album, UP ALL NIGHT.
“It’s been a long road. I think back on the thousands of hours of songwriting and hundreds of thousands of miles we’ve logged on the road…I wouldn’t trade any of that for the quick and easy route. I’ve learned so much, and I’m truly honored to be up for the CMA’s ‘New Artist Of The Year’ Award,” said Moore. “I have to admit…this is also a little extra inspiration for us as we finish up the next album!”
Last year, Moore shot out of the gate with the best selling debut country album of 2012, which spawned the platinum, two week chart-topping hit “Somethin’ ‘Bout A Truck,” followed by two more No. one singles, “Beer Money” and “Hey Pretty Girl.”
Chicago Sun-Times calls him, “A kind of magical cross between the songwriting talents of a Jackson Browne, the grit of a Bruce Springsteen and the twang of a Willie Nelson or Merle Haggard, Moore has taken the top spot when it comes to the title of one of country music’s most promising new stars.”
Moore has relentlessly toured the country coast to coast this year with Eric Church, Brantley Gilbert and Toby Keith amid selling out his own headlining shows, often in just minutes. In November, Moore will join Lady Antebellum for their TAKE ME DOWNTOWN TOUR. For a full list of tour dates and more information, visit www.kipmoore.net.
