Dozens dead. Towns destroyed. Lives changed forever.

That’s just part of the aftermath of the storms that ripped through the Midwest and the South on Friday and into Saturday. Now the rebuilding begins.

As reported by Jessica Blankenship at Examiner.com, some of the hardest hit areas include the Kentucky hometowns of country stars.  The hometown areas of Angaleena Presley of the Pistol Annies (Beauty, KY), Loretta Lynn (Butcher Holler, KY) and Keith Whitley (Sandy Hook, KY) all suffered tornado damage.

Chris Young will appear on a special edition of GAC-tv’s “Opry Live!” on Saturday, October 29th at 9 pm EST. He’ll perform his hits “Tomorrow” and “You” off of his new album “Neon” on a guitar formerly owned by Keith Whitley.   Chris received the guitar from “Music City Pickers” in Nashville.

“Keith Whitley has always been one of my musical heroes, so to get the chance to hold a piece of history in my hands and play his guitar on the OPRY stage was beyond awesome.”

Chris is ramping up his tour with Jason Aldean on the “My Kinda Party” tour. He plays tonight in Los Angeles with Jason.
