Justin Moore is Getting his own Radio Station

Justin Moore’s wanting to make sure his fans hear him on the radio. He’s teamed up with Slacker to create “Justin Moore Radio,” a station completely dedicated to Moore. His station will feature interviews, songs, and songs from his inspirations and favorite artists like Brooks & Dunn, Dwight Yoakam, Bad Company and Jamey Johnson; including him introducing each of the artists.

“Justin Moore Radio” is available right now for free for iPad users, smartphones, home entertainment devices, and with their own web application at Slacker Radio.

“I get excited any time I get to play music I love and I had a great time playing DJ on Slacker Radio. we mixed music from my two albums together with some of my all-time favorite songs. When fans listen to the channel, I think they’ll be surprised with how diverse it is. Even though I’m no doubt a Country artist, I’ve been influenced by a lot of genres and it’s cool to be able to play them all in one spot!”

Blake Shelton steals #1 spot back from Taylor Swift

Blake Shelton stole the number one spot on Mediabase back this week with “Honey Bee.” Now a 3-week number one, it’s streak was ruined by Taylor Swift’s “Mean” last week, who has now dropped down to number seven on the charts.

Justin Moore is a busy father these days. With the release of his brand new album, “Outlaws Like Me,” the announcement of baby number two on the way, and being on tour with Rascal Flatts; he somehow found the time to call us this morning.

In our exclusive interview with Justin, we found out which country star he thinks is a “freak,” what song he wish he wrote, and what former tour-mate Josh Kelley convinced him to put on his iPod during the Miranda Lambert Revolution tour.

A down-to-earth small town boy, Justin tweeted earlier this week that “good thing I don’t make albums for critics. I make em for you guys and myself.”

Justin Moore to Take Over Sirius/XM Tomorrow

Justin Moore’s set to take over satellite radio this week for the release of his brand new album, “Outlaws Like Me.” You can catch him live on Sirius/XM’s The Highway station tomorrow night at 7 pm ET / 6 pm CT. The special has Moore premiering tracks from his album, talking about how certain songs came to get on his record, and will also feature his Superfan concert which was taped at this year’s CMA Festival. He’ll also play some of his favorite tunes from other country artists.

Darius Rucker announces Lineup for Benefit Concert

The second annual “Darius and Friends” charity concert line-up was announced this morning. Darius Rucker has invited friends Jarrod Niemann, Rodney Atkins, Justin Moore and Easton Corbin to join him in a benefit concert for St. Jude’s Hospital. It’s already a sold-out event and all proceeds will go directly to the hospital.

The Wildhorse Saloon in downtown Nashville will once again host the event, with doors opening at 6 pm CST and the concert opening at 8 pm CST.

“The first event was so great that we wanted to keep that same theme for this year: artists coming together for a great cause.”

The 2010 event was the first benefit concert hosted by Rucker for St. Jude’s and raised over $48,000 for the hospital. Rucker is hoping to beat that number this year.

Big Machine teams up with Clear Channel

Big Machine Label Group has teamed up with Clear Channel to provide country music fans with a commercial-free internet radio station for Clear Channel’s iHeartRadio. This service will provide exclusive interviews, recordings and other content from Big Machine’s artists. This is great news for Taylor Swift, Jewel, Rascal Flatts, Martina McBride, Reba and The Band Perry fans. They are set to launch with an exclusive preview of Justin Moore’s Outlaws Like Me album.
