Justin Moore Reveals Baby’s Name

Justin Moore and his wife Kate have chosen to reveal the name of their second child together, even though she isn’t due for another two months. In an interview with Taste of Country, the Outlaw revealed that they’re having a second little girl, and why they chose the pretty name of Kennedy Faye for their baby.

“We’re going to name her Kennedy Faye. My grandma who passed away [a few] years ago, her name was Faynette. I don’t know where Kennedy came from. My wife picked it, which is the same thing that happened with Ella.”

Kennedy is due in November. The couple already have a 20-month old daughter together, Ella Kole Moore.

Justin’s currently on tour promoting his second single from “Outlaws Like Me.” The new single “Bait A Hook” is the follow-up to his number one single “If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away.”

Justin Moore: This Is NRA Country

Justin Moore is the first country artist to join the “NRA Country” campaign. The movement is set to celebrate country music’s love of the outdoors, the United States military, and family. Justin recorded and wrote a song exclusively for the movement titled “This Is NRA Country.” Fans can download the track from NRAcountry.com as a bonus track to Justin’s newest album “Outlaws Like Me.” Justin also filmed a music video for the single earlier in the Summer, and the music video can be viewed exclusively at the NRA Country facebook page for the next two weeks.

“I’m proud to be a member of the NRA and I was honored to write a theme song for NRA Country,” shares Moore. “I hope this song helps spread the word about how important it is to protect our freedoms and inspires people to live a good wholesome all-American lifestyle that would make our founding fathers proud.”

Each month the NRA Country campaign will highlight a different country music artist that celebrates what it is to be an American and the love of the great outdoors. For more information on NRA Country see their official website.

Review: Justin Moore in Oxford, MS (8/27)

If there’s anything I love more, its country music shows in small venues. And this Justin Moore show was no exception, let me tell you.

Justin Moore brought his one-of-a-kind concert experience to The Lyric Theater in historic Oxford, Mississippi, home to Ole Miss. I have been to this small venue twice before, and it has grown to be one of my favorite places to be. There’s nothing like being right there, front & center, while 18-year-old college kids attempt to crawl over you and shove you against the stage. Its a rite of passage for any country music fan and you haven’t experienced music until you’ve experienced that.

REVIEW: Justin Moore – Bait A Hook

Justin Moore has been an interesting artist to follow in country music. With someone with such a strong sense of who he is, he’s never been able to find a song that really got him the attention he deserved until “If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away.” He’s always had different single choices than what I would have chosen for him, and now after the success that was “Heaven,” would he be able to follow that up and stay in the spotlight?

I saw him live for the first time last weekend at the Capital Hoedown in Ottawa, Canada. I had been told by fans how great of a performer he was live – and they weren’t kidding. Once you’ve seen him sing the tracks off of “Outlaws Like Me” it’s hard to rock out to the studio versions in the same way. “Bait A Hook” is his latest single from his new album, and while it is catchy, it doesn’t live up to its live potential – but it’s still great.  While critics have looked down on the song unfavorably because of the city boy versus country boy topic, I love it!

Justin Moore’s Ticked Off

While Justin Moore is usually one of the nicest, funniest guys you could ever meet in country music, someone must have said something wrong to him last night on Twitter. The Arkansas native lashed out at a Twitter user named “CruiseRadio” over something they said to the “Outlaws Like Me” singer. Warning: there are some cuss words in these tweets.

@JustinColeMoore:  @CruiseRadio go fuck yourself.
@JustinColeMoore:@CruiseRadio you’re welcome to come back to my bus and discuss of you want. It has a razorback on the side. Come on back dickhead…JM
When asked if it was the real Justin Moore posting these tweets, Justin replied to a fan:
@JustinColeMoore@RandyHolbrook it is. I don’t take kindly to being called gay. I, also, don’t take kindly to skynyrd to being called gay.

Any questionable tweets from last night from the user must have been deleted. The only mention of Justin Moore from “CruiseRadio” is this FourSquared location of him being at the concert. Here’s guessing CruiseRadio can’t “Bait A Hook:”

Day Three: The Capital Hoedown ends with a Party

The final day of the second annual Capital Hoedown country music festival ended with a bang in Ottawa on Saturday night. With a day packed with stars and gates opening at noon, earlier by three hours than the first two days, country music fans in Canada’s capital were ready to party from the start. While the temperatures were hot and hard for some fans to take, it didn’t stop the fans from packing in to the general admission and VIP areas all day long, even after two nights of partying. And it really was partying: Friday night after the crowd was forced out of the park after Kenny Chesney, security found one fan passed out in a porta-potty.

The day kicked off right with Hoedown Showdown winners Wyatt introducing themselves to the crowd. The band won the chance to open up the final day of the Capital Hoedown with a contest that included a live competition in front of judges for who would get the line-up spot. The boys merged rock with country, and it was clear how excited they really were for the opportunity: they took over the whole stage and were all smiles even with the blazing heat. Their families were also in attendance at the festival, and watched proudly. The most memorable performance was their radio-friendly “Airplanes.”

‘Moore’ estrogen for Justin Moore’s household!

It was announced earlier this summer that Justin Moore and his wife are expecting baby number two to be  born later this fall. Recently, Justin spoke with 93.3 WBTU in Fort Wayne, Indiana and shared news that Ella Kole is going to have a baby sister!

“We are having another daughter. A lot of estrogen floating around my household,” Justin said with a laugh.“I told my wife the other day everybody’s been telling me that we need to get a couple extra bathrooms since I’m gonna have so many women in the house,” he said. ”I said I need another gun or two!”

Ella Kole was born in February, 2010. No word on any name ideas for the new addition.

Blake Shelton stole the number one spot on Mediabase back this week with “Honey Bee.” Now a 3-week number one, it’s streak was ruined by Taylor Swift’s “Mean” last week, who has now dropped down to number seven on the charts.

Justin Moore is gaining up on Shelton with “If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away.” Check out our exclusive interview with Justin Moore HERE.
