Radio station WQYK in Tampa Bay, Florida announced their lineup for their annual Fun N’ Sun Toyota Country Concert series, which is returning to Coachman Park on Sunday, April 22nd. Headlining the free concert is Ronnie Dunn, with two stages featuring acts like J.T. Hodges, THE FARM, Andy Gibson, Chris Cagle, Suite Caroline, Greg Bates, and Canaan Smith all day. Both Canaan and Greg will perform on the side stage at the event in an acoustic setting.
While the concert is free and open to the public, there are reserved seating tickets available for only $20 each to get fans closer to the main stage. WQYK will be giving away VIP passes and tickets to listeners leading up to the event. Reserved seating goes on-sale on Monday on ticketmaster.com.
The upcoming ACM Weekend in Las Vegas keeps getting bigger and bigger. The latest announcement is a special concert to show appreciation for the military.
On Saturday March 31, a star-studded show will salute the soldiers with song and more. The “Salute to the Military Presented by NRA Country” concert will feature (in alphabetical order) Lee Brice, Larry Gatlin and The Gatlin Brothers, JT Hodges, Kip Moore, Craig Morgan and Thompson Square. The event will be hosted by Robin Meade, anchor of HLN’s “Morning Express with Robin Meade.”

Showdog-Universal’s rising star J.T. Hodges will be launching a brand-new web series on Monday. The twice a month live chat called “Just Talkin’” will give fans the chance to get to know J.T. better and vote on which song he’ll perform live on the video stream.
Fans can vote right now on JT’s Facebook page for what song they want to hear him cover in his first UStream. The live stream will feature a live chat on Ustream so fans will be able to talk with the singer in real time. His first chat starts Monday at 7 pm CST.
J.T’s second single, “Goodbyes Made You Mine,” is out on radio right now.

JT Hodges’ latest single, “Goodbyes Made You Mine,” will be available at all digital download sites tomorrow, on Valentine’s Day, according to Bill Kennedy, Show Dog-Universal Music’s Vice President of Sales, Marketing & New Media.
“JT’s new single showcases his unique voice and edgy style,” Kennedy said. “The song is a natural next step after last year’s debut ‘Hunt You Down.’”

Hodges made it to the semi-final round in the Academy of Country Music’s New Artist of the Year category. Showdog-Universal’s J.T. Hodges has released his latest video in his campaign for fan votes for the semi-finalist round of the Academy of Country Music’s New Artist of the Year category. He’s one of eight semi-finalists competing for both fan and industry votes to become one of the final three nominees.
In his latest video, he’s teamed up with director Marcel once again to help solve the question “Who is J.T. Hodges?”. In the third part of the series, J.T. explains “This Is J.T. Hodges.”
“Working with Marcel on these videos has been a blast and I am so grateful to the country music fans for letting me give them a little peak into who I am,” Hodges said. “Our point was to just have some fun with these videos, and get everyone to smile a little bit.”
Voting is open right now for the semi-finalist round of the ACM New Artist Of The Year. Fans can cast their votes at voteacm.com until January 30th.

J.T. gave us a call last week in-between some writing sessions at his home in Tennessee. He’ll be releasing his debut album later this year, and he’s one of the semi-finalists nominated for the Academy of Country Music’s New Artist of the Year category.
