The ACM Awards Take Over Fremont Street

ACM-Awards-April-7-CountryMusicRocks.net_

Country music is taking over Las Vegas in April, as the ACM’s head to Sin City. While the coveted awards show will take place on April 7th, it’s the days leading up to the awards that will truly be “must-see” events!

Fremont Street is located in the heart of Las Vegas, and is only second in popularity to the infamous Las Vegas Strip. The Fremont Experience is a pedestrian mall downtown, which takes up a five-block radius and is well-known for being home to the world’s largest video screen (a whopping 1,500 feet long!). So, who can you expect to see at the Fremont Street Experience, performing on this monster screen? An incredible line-up consisting of co-headliners Gary Allan and Jake Owen, along with Randy Houser, Chris Janson, Jana Kramer, Kip Moore, Joe Nichols and Sunny Sweeney!

Joe Nichols Leaves Showdog

Joe Nichols.

Country music crooner Joe Nichols and Showdog-Universal Records have amicably split ways, the singer announced on Twitter. Joe was given permission to find another contract that will better suit him as an artist, and there’s no hard feelings between the parties if his Tweets are any indication.

“I’d like to thank Showdog Univerisal for doing the right thing. I’m FREE!”

Joe didn’t want that taken the wrong way, and quickly clarified his tweet:

“Just to be clear, I’m VERY thankful for Showdog and what they have done for me. Our relationship has just reached its limits and I wish them luck.”

Joe’s fanclub party set for May 8th at the Country Music Hall of Fame is still on. Tickets are $45 each, and there is a wait list. Get your tickets for the wait list here.
