The night I arrived into Nashville for the Country Music Association awards this year, I hit The Stage on Broadway. That’s when I first saw Jason Link performing, and introduced myself to his team, then shortly after, Jason himself. Even with all the pressure of having everyone who’s anyone in country music in town that weekend, he had the whole bar on their feet. We set up an interview and I caught up with Jason at a photo studio where he was finishing up a photo shoot. The energetic, talented, and funny singer sat down with us the night before the CMA Awards this year.
Not only is he one of the few country music singers out there that also play lead guitar, but he’s a songwriter as well. Raised on a tobacco farm, country music has always been a big part of the Virginia native’s life. At 19, he played over 270 shows in one year – even having to travel 100 miles each way.
