Jana Kramer To Host Fashion Event To Benefit Local Animal Rescue

Agape Animal Shelter is proud to sponsor the fourth annual Glitter and Glam: An extraordinary fashion show and is proud to announce the 2012 celebrity host, Elektra Nashville recording artist and actress, Jana Kramer. Loews Vanderbilt Hotel will be rolling out the red carpet for the fashion show, live and silent auction, and wine tasting event, all benefiting the animals of Middle Tennessee.

“There are few artists who connect with their audience as well as Jana,” said producer Scott Hendricks who worked with Jana on her debut album. “When she sings the listener feels it, and that can’t be taught.” Jana’s self-titled debut album was released on June 5, 2012 on Elektra Nashville.

Jana is also a big supporter of animals. She loves spending time with her Puggle and is excited to work with Agape Animal Rescue. “My dog, Sophie, is my best friend. She’s been there for me on my happiest and saddest of days. Last year, I rescued a Boxer-Shepard named Willie, who I fostered until I found him the perfect new family. I had this amazing feeling helping him find a loving home. That’s why I’m excited to work with Agape Animal Rescue, knowing how many animals they help find loving homes.”

Agape is also excited to work with Jana and have her support during this big night. She will be wearing designs by fashion mogul, Manuel, Glitter and Glam’s celebrity fashion designer for 2012.

Agape Animal Rescue invites you to walk the red carpet and enjoy a unique night of fashion at Loews Vanderbilt Hotel on July 8, 2012, from 5-8 P.M. There will be more than $25,000 worth of amazing items at Glitter and Glam’s live and silent auction. This is a great chance to enjoy legendary fashion, complimentary wine and hors d’oeuvres and meet the celebrity line-up face to face!

Why not go out and enjoy a fun night of fashion shows and auctions, all while supporting a great cause! Event attire is cocktail dress and tickets are available for a donation of $60. All proceeds benefit Agape Animal Rescue, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Jana Kramer Describes Music Success as “Unbelievable”

Jana Kramer, former actress on The CW’s “One Tree Hill,” transitioned from acting to singing without a hitch. After Jana decided to pursue her music career and bid farewell to her role as Alex Dupre on The CW’s longest running series, she says people were skeptical. However, Jana’s success in country music turned those skeptics to supporters almost immediately.

Jana’s first single “Why Ya Wanna?” was the most-added song of a debut artist since the inception of the Country Aircheck/Mediabase chart. “Why Ya Wanna?” also reached the Top 20 on the charts, further validating the actress-turned-artist’s career path decision. As if a Top 20 hit wasn’t enough validation, Jana’s self-titled debut album hit Number 1 on iTunes the week of its release. It is clear that Jana has been welcomed by peers and fans throughout the genre.
