In honor of Father’s Day, we knew we had to celebrate country music’s great fathers. They love their kids, they write excellent songs, they put on phenomenal concerts…and they look pretty hot while doing so. Today, we salute country’s music’s 10 Hottest Dads.

While it was hard to narrow it down, these hunky dads stole our top ten spots.

10. Keith Urban - He may be one of Australia’s favorite sons, but this perfectly coiffed crooner is one of our favorite dads. Married to actress Nicole Kidman since 2006, Keith is the proud papa to Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.

9. Justin Moore - While he may be somewhat of an up and comer in music these days, the “If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away” singer easily takes a spot on our list. With his wife Kate, Justin has 2 daughters, Ella Kole and Kennedy Faye. We wonder if he’ll try to teach his little girls how to “Bait A Hook”!

8. Josh Kelley - Josh Kelley may have only jumped into country music in the last few years, but this “Georgia Clay” singer nabs a spot for adopting 2 beautiful daughters, Naleigh & Adalaide Marie Hope, with wife Katherine Heigl. You can hear Kelley’s ode to his first daughter on the beautiful track “Naleigh Moon.”

7. Eric Church – He may be a rebel in country music, ruffling some feathers from time to time, but country’s favorite bad boy has quite the soft side. Forget the drink in his hand and pass him a baby bottle…He and wife Katherine welcomed their son, Boone McCoy, last October.

6. Brad Paisley – He may be known for his comedic lyrics and wicked guitar playing, but Brad and wife, Kimberly Williams Paisley, are the proud parents of 2 adorable sons. We can’t imagine what kind of trouble Brad gets in with William “Huck” Huckleberry and Jasper Warren. We have to wonder if they’re anything like him…

5. Jason Aldean - The “Dirt Road Anthem” singer is not only married to his high school sweetheart, Jessica, but is also the proud daddy of two little girls, Kelley and Kendyl. Swoon…

4. Tim McGraw – He’s undoubtedly half of one of country music’s most beloved couples and although he splits his time between music and movies, Mr. Faith Hill is also a hot dad to three daughters, Gracie Katherine, Maggie Elizabeth and Audrey Caroline.

3. Dierks Bentley - He may be a “Modern Day Drifter,” but Dierks makes his “Home” with his wife, Cassidy, and his two little girls, Jordan Catherine and Evelyn “Evie” Day.

2. Josh Turner – For Josh Turner, touring is a family affair as his wife, Jennifer, plays keyboard in his band and sings backup, while his boys travel with them on the tour bus. The “Time Is Love” Singer is dad to 3 boys, Hampton Otis, Colby Lynch and Crawford Marion, all who sing along with him on “Find Me A Baby” off his new album, Punching Bag.

1. Luke Bryan - He may be known for his gritty voice and swiveling hips, but Luke Bryan is also the dad to “Thomas “Bo” Boyter and Tatum” Tate” Christopher. This dude easily tops our list as the hottest dad in country music. We can’t deny those moves, that voice, the dimples…His wife Caroline is one lucky lady, but we have to wonder how long it will be ’til he has a little “Country Girl” of his own!

REVIEW: Dierks Bentley Makes A Pit Stop in NYC for IHeartRadio

The whirling dervish that is the Dierks Bentley promo tour for his new album Home made a quick pit stop in NYC yesterday for some lucky IHeartRadio contest winners. Dierks played a full show on Wednesday at the Bowery Ballroom but Monday night’s 10 song, 45 minute set was a nice appetizer. The tiny P.C. Richards Theater on the ground floor of the Clear Channel building was packed with lots of Dierks’ faithful fans – and they were not disappointed. Calling NYC the pulse of this country and bantering about talking country music with a man from Kentucky over breakfast in the Big Apple, Dierks Bentley knows that NYC knows country music! The showcase highlighted some of the new tracks including 5-1-5-0, a Van Halen inspired track, the title track Home, and When You Gonna Come Around featuring Karen Fairchild from Little Big Town which is a sweet, romantic, country ballad. Mrs. Fairchild was not in attendance last night but the song held up just fine as a solo number too. The fan favorites were peppered in as well. The audience was participating for Feel the Fire and What Was I Thinking. But when Dierks came down off the stage and into the crowd for Sideways the fan love soared! My personal favorite of the night was Up On The Ridge, the title track from Dierks’ previous album. It may have been because Brooklyn’s own Punch Brothers played on the album track or it may have been because it is an awesome song. But any which way you cut it last night made me proud to be from NYCountry.

Dierks Bentley’s “Home” Available Now

Country star Dierks Bentley released his highly anticipated album, Home, yesterday. Home marks the seventh studio album for Bentley and includes his number one smash, “Am I The Only One,” and the hit title track, “Home.” The album has already hit number one on iTunes’ Country Albums Chart and is currently sitting comfortably in the top spot.

Bentley is never one to forget his fans. He requested via twitter that fans send him their phone number so he could call some of them and chat about the album. True to his word, he started making calls yesterday. Bentley also had a special album release day message to his fans live from the streets of New York. Check out the video below.

Dierks Bentley Certified Gold

Dierks Bentley has another hit on his hands!

With more than 500,000 digital sales, Bentley’s number one hit, “Am I The Only One,” has been certified gold by the RIAA. The track is his eighth number one song.

“Am I The Only One” is the lead single for Bentley’s upcoming album, Home, which is due out on February 7th. He will be holding a special show at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on February 2nd to kick off and celebrate the new album release.

Additionally, his current single, “Home,” is busy climbing the country radio charts, and the second leg of his Country & Cold Cans Tour will continue on February 15th in Canada and Australia. Check out his website for more details: www.dierks.com.

Dierks Bentley Reveals Track Listing For New Album

Country star Dierks Bentley‘s sixth album, Home, is one of the most anticipated albums of 2012 and is slated for release by Capitol Records on February 7th. The album includes his number one hit, “Am I The Only One,” as well as the title track and top 15 song, “Home.”

In discussing the album, Bentley stated:

“This album is more than a year’s worth of writing, recording and testing out material on the road in front of our hardcore fans. The end result is an album that runs through all the types of country songs and sounds I enjoy singing and playing. I can’t wait to share it with the fans!”

REVIEW: Dierks Bentley, “Home”

Country star, Dierks Bentley, recently released the follow-up to his hit number one single, “Am I The Only One.” His new song, “Home,” is the second single off of his upcoming album of the same title. Bentley co-wrote the track with Dan Wilson and Brett Beavers.

The song was initially inspired by the tragic shooting surrounding Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords that took place in Arizona last January. Giffords was severely injured, 12 people were hurt, and 6 people lost their lives. “Home” was made the official song by Arizona’s Centennial Commission for the state’s 100-year celebration.

In an interview with All Things Considered host Melissa Block, Arizona native, Bentley, explained:

“I think the first thing I thought of when we started writing it was the shooting that happened in Tucson, Ariz., with [U.S. Rep.] Gabby Giffords. That had happened about four days earlier. That, for me, my home state — that invokes so many different feelings of anger and questions of why. And also, of course, the healing process. It all kind of came together in this song.”

“Home ” addresses patriotism in a heartfelt and honest manner. It recognizes our nation’s struggles and hardships as well as acknowledges people’s flaws while displaying hope for a better future. The underlying tone of the song unquestionably lies in sentiment of love and loyalty to our country. Bentley’s smooth country drawl on top of the raw and melodic sound of the track match perfectly with the powerful message of the song.

Bentley shared on NPR:

“Hopefully, at the end of the day, when we were writing the song, once we started getting into it — you want this to be inspiring and hopeful, but also address the realities of what’s going on.” He went on to say, ‘”Home’ is about the place we all call home, this country that we all are lucky enough to live in.”
