I’ve been crazy about Billy Gilman since I was 10! I’ve seen him in concert 3 times and met him 4…best days ever! The last time I saw him was in 09′, we drove 6 hours to get there and it was amazing. My friend had extra tickets that she won from MDA and so I bought them off her, and when we got there we found out that they came with a special back stage meet and greet! I almost passed out! When me and my friend got backstage I thought I really was going to pass out!
Just as many other artists do, Jason Aldean had a fanclub party during CMA Fest, except his was different from most. Rather than simply purchasing tickets to a private show with a meet and greet at the end, you entered your name for a drawing to be chosen to watch Jason Aldean soundcheck at LP Field the day of his performance (Thursday, June 9, 2011). There was no cost to attend the party other than the fanclub membership – you just had to hope that you were chosen to go.
Im Kristin Carter , I’m 21 and I’m from Raleigh NC. My fan story is about the time I met Blake Shelton, who is one of my favorite singers. The first time I ever heard a Blake song was back in 2008 when I first heard “Home” on the radio! I had to stop what I was doing and just listen to it because the sound of his voice just stood out to me. I told myself I had to find out more about this guy, so I went home and got online and bought his Startin Fires CD.
Our very first fan story is one of my own..I decided to share my experience with all of you country music fans and get the ball rolling!
So you’re a die hard Lauren and Scotty fan. You win two backstage passes to meet them at the Grand Ole Opry…do you take your boyfriend/girlfriend, best friend or….a complete stranger?

Looks like someone had a little too much drink at a Darius Rucker concert in Boca Raton. During his performance of “History In The Making” from his first country album, Learn To Live, a fan jumped on-stage as Rucker’s back was turned to the audience. Not missing a beat, security knocked the fan down then carried the man off stage.
Rucker continued to sing, without missing a note, and acting like nothing went wrong with the rest of the song. Check out the video footage under the cut below. It all goes down around 1:15 in the video.
