Easton Corbin will release his highly anticipated sophomore album titled All Over The Road on September 18 through Mercury Records. The 11-song album includes Corbin’s rising single “Lovin’ You Is Fun.”
‘All Over the Road’ is a fun title…but it’s also actually what we’re doing out there. We’re all over the road trying to get music out to everybody, so I just thought it made sense.
The Florida native’s place in today’s country music world is further cemented by All Over The Road. Corbin stays true to traditional country songs with the title track and “Tulsa Texas.” It is clear to see, and hear, that Corbin’s major influences are Keith Whitley, George Jones, and Merle Haggard.
All Over The Road is Corbin’s follow –up to his self-titled debut album that was released in 2010. The album spawned back-to-back No. 1s with “A Little More country Than That” and “Roll With It.” Corbin was the first male artist in seventeen years to have his first two consecutive singles reach No. 1.
Fans will be able to catch Easton Corbin on certain stops on Brad Paisley’s Virtual Reality Tour this year.

Country music singer Easton Corbin has just been announced as the third artist to participate in the Road To RAM Jam special concert event. The invitation-only concert takes place in Nashville on December 29th, and fans can enter to win tickets to the event by entering on the event’s official website and official Facebook page. Five artists will be part of the private concert. Easton joins previously-announced artists Kellie Pickler and Brantley Gilbert.
Easton will offer a free download of his current single “Lovin’ You Is Fun,” from his upcoming sophomore album “All Over The Road” to fans when they enter the Road To RAM Jam sweepstakes with the links above. The last two Road to RAM Jam artists will be announced later this year, and all five artists will receive a 2012 RAM 1500 Laramie Longhorn truck. Those trucks will be auctioned off in 2013 for various charities chosen by each artist. Proceeds from Easton’s truck sale will benefit The Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund, an organization dedicated to helping children of lost Armed Forces members get through college and university. In 2011, the organization awarded over $1 million USD in scholarships to 240 sons and daughters of American heroes.
“I feel so fortunate to be apart of the Road to the Ram Jam series involving three things I am passionate about; trucks, honoring our military and country music,” said Easton. “Growing up on a farm, I learned to love trucks. Driving my new, loaded Laramie Longhorn is great and to be able to auction it off and donate the proceeds to the Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund is an added bonus. I am looking forward to this program and being a part of the Ram Jam Concert in Nashville in December.”

He has rescheduled the dates while he recovers from his illness he had been suffering from for a period of time. In a message for his fans, he apologizes for missing the dates and says he can’t wait to get back out on the road to perform.
“I wanted to let all of my fans know that I am truly sorry that I have had to cancel shows this month. I haven’t been feeling well, and after a few doctor visits, they informed me that I needed to rest. I am taking the time to get better and be 100% so that I can go back on the road and do what makes me happy, playing for all of you. Thank you for all of your love and support. Just in case you aren’t sick of all those dance games just yet, Nintendo announced plans to release a sequel to Country Dance for the Wii gaming system. It’s a video game that makes the player get up and move, trying to copy what they see on screen in order to pass levels. It’s one way to get active, and have an excuse to dance a-long to your favorite country music songs.
Artists featured this time around include Carrie Underwood, Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Ashton Shepard, George Strait, and even Eric Church. It’s sounding like a game country music fans will have to try out at least once, right? More artists, songs and features will be announced at a later date as the release date gets closer. It’s real easy to play Country Dance 2, as all you have to do is pick up the Wiimote and match what you see on the tv screen.

The final day of the second annual Capital Hoedown country music festival ended with a bang in Ottawa on Saturday night. With a day packed with stars and gates opening at noon, earlier by three hours than the first two days, country music fans in Canada’s capital were ready to party from the start. While the temperatures were hot and hard for some fans to take, it didn’t stop the fans from packing in to the general admission and VIP areas all day long, even after two nights of partying. And it really was partying: Friday night after the crowd was forced out of the park after Kenny Chesney, security found one fan passed out in a porta-potty.
The day kicked off right with Hoedown Showdown winners Wyatt introducing themselves to the crowd. The band won the chance to open up the final day of the Capital Hoedown with a contest that included a live competition in front of judges for who would get the line-up spot. The boys merged rock with country, and it was clear how excited they really were for the opportunity: they took over the whole stage and were all smiles even with the blazing heat. Their families were also in attendance at the festival, and watched proudly. The most memorable performance was their radio-friendly “Airplanes.”
July 13th might just be a date Easton Corbin and his team will never forget. He celebrated his first-ever double number one singles in the Nashville BMI offices yesterday. Corbin’s first two singles “I’m A Little More Country Than That” and “Roll With It” both went number one on the Billboard charts for the first time in 17 years for a solo male country artist. The last artist to pull off this feat was Clay Walker in 1994 with “What’s It To You” and “Live Until I Die.”
“It feels great and one of the most gratifying feelings is having the fans singing along with you. It’s one of those deals where you put out a record, and as your music grows, more people get familiar with it and more and more people sing along with it and that’s what it’s about.” – Easton Corbin to Countryweekly.com
Around 100 industry guests attended the party last night in Corbin’s honor. He accepted plaques from BMI, the Country Music Association (CMA), and his label Universal Music Group. The songwriters were among the guests at the celebration.
The second annual “Darius and Friends” charity concert line-up was announced this morning. Darius Rucker has invited friends Jarrod Niemann, Rodney Atkins, Justin Moore and Easton Corbin to join him in a benefit concert for St. Jude’s Hospital. It’s already a sold-out event and all proceeds will go directly to the hospital.
The Wildhorse Saloon in downtown Nashville will once again host the event, with doors opening at 6 pm CST and the concert opening at 8 pm CST.
“The first event was so great that we wanted to keep that same theme for this year: artists coming together for a great cause.”
The 2010 event was the first benefit concert hosted by Rucker for St. Jude’s and raised over $48,000 for the hospital. Rucker is hoping to beat that number this year.
