Keith Urban fans have been waiting patiently all weekend since the superstar released a teaser video announcing a big announcement to come Monday morning.

So, what is the big news? Keith has announced the second leg of his Light The Fuse Tour 2013, featuring Little Big Town and Dustin Lynch!

Originally, the tour consisted of dates across the U.S. throughout the summer months and into the fall. Now, Keith is planning to hit even more stops across America right into December.

Presale begins April 2nd, with public tickets on sale shortly after on April 5th.

Exclusive Interview: Sean Patrick McGraw

When we reached out to Sean Patrick McGraw for an interview, we knew that he was ridiculously  talented, but after chatting with him, we learned that he’s both ridiculously talented AND ridiculously hilarious. Read on to hear what Sean has to say about his stint on reality TV, Montgomery Gentry recording his song, “My So Called Life,” and sharing the stage with some of country’s biggest names. Keith Urban Announces First Leg of Tour

This morning, Keith Urban fans were eager for the artist’s big announcement. At 9AM CT sharp, the announcement was made: the artist is hitting the road in the New Year.

Keith’s first leg of his 2013 North American tour will feature stops right across the United States throughout the summer months of next year. Dustin Lynch and Little Big Town will be joining Keith on tour.

Jason Aldean, Lady A & Luke Bryan Added To ACAs

Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley and Little Big Town have just been announced as performers for this year’s American Country Awards on FOX. The award show will air live from the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas on December 10th at 8 pm EST. Other stars announced to appear as presenters are Dustin Lynch, Lauren Alaina, Casey James, LeAnn Rimes, Lee Brice, Jana Kramer, Scotty McCreery, and Chris Young.

The two-hour live music spectacular offers country music fans the opportunity to vote for their favorite artists not only in traditional categories, but also in a previously unrecognized area – touring – encompassing the entire spectrum of country music.

Voting for all categories remains open until Monday, Nov. 12 at www.theacas.com. Voting for Artist of the Year continues until Friday, Dec. 7. Who are you voting for?

 

Nominees for ACAs Announced

AMERICAN COUNTRY AWARDS: LOGO

The nominees were just announced earlier this morning for this year’s American Country Awards. The third edition of the fan-voted award show will once again air live on FOX from Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. While the co-hosts remain the same with Trace Adkins and Kristin Chenoweth, there is something new about the award show – the addition of the “Song Of The Year” category which will honor country music’s top songwriters of 2012. The nominees for Song of the Year are determined by the National Songwriters Association International (NSAI). The award show will air live on December 10th on FOX at 8 pm EST.

Artists leading all nominees this year are Luke Bryan with seven, and Lady Antebellum tying for second with Zac Brown Band with six nominations each. Eric Church and Taylor Swift both have five nominations each. Check out the full list of nominees below and let us know who you’ll be voting for. Fans can vote at theacas.com for their favorite artists, and make sure to tune in December 10th to see who wins!

Dustin Lynch Has The Number One Album

Congratulations to Dustin Lynch and the team at Broken Bow Records! His debut self-titled country album is number one this week, becoming the only male country act to debut at #1 on the Country Albums Chart so far in 2012. According to Soundscan, he sold over 23,700 units this week.

His debut single “Cowboys and Angels” is already RIAA gold status after selling more than 500,000 copies digitally since its release. We named Dustin one of our “ones to watch” for 2012 earlier this year, and we’re proud to have introduced him to Canadian country fans.

Dustin Lynch Named CMT’s Listen Up Artist

Broken Bow Records recording artist Dustin Lynch has been named CMT’s “Listen Up” artist for September. As part of the promotion, CMT will offer an exclusive live performance by Dustin on Monday, August 20th – the day before the release of his self titled debut country album. The concert will be filmed at Nashville’s 12th and Porter at 8 pm EST and will be streamed live online for fans on cmt.com. The show is free on a first-come-first-serve basis.

On August 21st, CMT Radio’s Cody Allan Live will host an “Ask Anything” video chat segment with Dustin. Fans wanting to get their questions in can start submitting them now at cmtradiolive.com.

VIDEO: Dustin Lynch Makes Fans’ Night

After bad weather forced Broken Bow artist Dustin Lynch to cancel his appearance at Bamajam, he wanted to make sure two fans who drove from Virginia got to see a show.. on his bus! Our 2012 one to watch had already packed up and his band and crew left the festival when he heard the story of two female fans who drove to southern Alabama from Virginia just to see his show. Dustin quickly turned around and invited them on his bus to play a private acoustic show just for them.
