Craig Morgan To Release Album Feb 28th, New Music Video Tonight

Country music star, and sometimes TV-show host, Craig Morgan will be releasing his brand new album “This Ole Boy” on February 28th. It’s the first new full-length studio album from Craig in nearly three years, and his first with his new home at Black River Entertainment after signing with them in 2011.

Craig will be debuting his brand new music video from the album today on Entertainment Tonight’s website ETOnline.com. Hollywood actress Angie Harmon stars alongside Craig for the title track lead single. The music video, directed by Kristin Barlowe, was filmed in Arlington, Tennessee late last year. Fans can catch the video in rotation on country music television stations and websites in the next few days. It will be available for digital download later this month.

Craig Morgan’s Hit TV Show Nominated For 8 Awards

Congratulations to Craig Morgan for his reality television show “Craig Morgan All Access Outdoors” which has earned the singer eight Golden Moose awards. He’s nominated for some of the top categories for the fan-voted award show, including: Best Overall Series, Fan Favorite Hunting Series, and Fan Favorite Host. Fans who vote for the award show are entered to win some great prizes. Voting is open now until December 26th, and to vote visit the official 12th Annual Golden Moose Awards website.  Craig’s other nominations include Best in: Big Game, Deer, Blooper/Outtake, Turkey, and Graphics.

The award show will take place in Las Vegas on January 19th, 2012 during the Shooting and Outdoor Industry Trade Show (SHOT). The Golden Moose Awards (GMA) celebrate the best and brightest Outdoor Channel programming, producing, and hosting for 2011.

After a huge first season, Craig’s show “Craig Morgan All Access Outdoors” quickly become the Outdoor Channel’s top-rated Saturday morning hunting program. Craig debuted season two in 2011 with thirteen all-new episodes on the station. Craig loves to be in the spotlight entertaining – whether it’s in front of some of the rowdiest country music fans at his shows, or on television hunting with the whole world. The hit reality show takes fans on an all-access, backstage pass to his travels as he and his friends pursue big game, big thrills and big adventures. Catch Craig every Saturday morning at 11 am EST on the Outdoor Channel.

Craig recently released a 5-song EP titled “This Ole Boy” with a full-length album expected early next year. His current single, the title track “This Ole Boy,” is a top 30 single out at radio right now.

Craig Morgan To Make 15th Headlining Concert For Troops

Over 150 military spouses, sailors and USO volunteers will team-up for “Operation USO Care Packages” on December 16th at Naval Station Norfolk. Together, they’ll put together thousands of care packages for the troops serving overseas. The event is part of the “15th annual Jack Daniel’s USO Toast To The Troops Stuffing Party,” and will also feature a headlining free performance by Craig Morgan for the volunteers.

Jack Daniel’s has been collecting personal messages in the form of “toasts” for the troops since 2005. Those messages are included in the care packages, and Craig has appeared at 14 of the events in the past to show his support for the United States Military. More than 150,000 care packages have made it to the troops as part of this event. This year’s “Stuffing Party” will continue the tradition of having a “thank you” barbeque for the volunteers followed by Craig’s performance.

The USO Care packages are sponsored at $25 each. They include items requested by the service men and women like prepaid calling cards, toiletries, sunscreen, playing cards, disposable cameras and snacks from home. The packages are sent to troops in Afghanistan, Iraq, and other overseas locations the military are serving at.

Kellie Pickler, The Band Perry, Alan Jackson, Phil Vassar, Thompson Square and the Eli Young Band have been officially added to the Arizona Country Thunder line-up for next year. They join previously announced headliners Big & Rich, Blake Shelton and Dierks Bentley.

VIDEO: Craig Morgan Raising Awareness For Operation Ride Home

Country music singer Craig Morgan is out on a mission to help raise awareness for “Operation Ride Home.” The former Fort Campbell service officer has joined the organization to help military members get home safely during the Holiday season. Watch the video below:

“Operation Ride Home” is a joint effort by the YMCA of Fort Campbell and the Jack Daniels Distillery which will work with military officials in identifying soldiers and their families in need of financial assistance this Holiday season. They will support the soldiers travel from military bases to their homes for Christmas.

Craig Morgan is Seeing Stars

Craig Morgan is not only making his rounds in country music these days, but also on TV! Morgan recently visited the set of Army Wives, a series on Lifetime that is currently in it’s sixth season. He filmed a guest appearance for the show which will air in early 2012. Morgan also found himself on the football field in Nashville this past weekend to sing the national anthem at the Tennessee Titans vs. Cincinnati Bengals game for the Titans’ Veteran’s Day celebration, as Morgan is a 10-year Army veteran himself. In addition to all his recent tv appearances, he shot the music video today for his new hit, “This Ole Boy” in Nashville with Angie Harmon, star of the TNT show Rizzoli & Isles.

Morgan recently released a 5-song digital EP titled This Ole Boy and fans can expect a full-length album out sometime early next year.

Morgan can also be caught on the Outdoor Channel in his TV series, Craig Morgan: All Access Outdoors. The show is currently in it’s second season.

Craig Morgan Releases This Ole Boy EP Today

Craig Morgan has had a busy year. The singer turned-tv-star released a 5-song EP for his fans today, ahead of a full-length studio album due out early 2012. He didn’t want to have his fans wait too long for new music, so he chose to release “This Ole Boy” to all digital retailers today. The EP features the title track, which was the lead single off of the album.The EP was produced by Craig and Phil O’Donnell to keep the signature Craig sound alive. Craig co-wrote “The Whole World Needs A Kitchen” on the digital album.  For the full track listing see below.

Craig recorded “This Ole Boy” in-between tour stops and filming for his television show “Craig Morgan: All Access Outdoors,” which he is currently filming the third season for.

You can catch Craig on television this Sunday when he sings the national anthem in Nashville at the Tennessee Titans and Cincinnati Bengals game. The game starts at 3:05 pm CST live on CBS.

Lady Antebellum To Host Premiere Networks CMA Special

Country music super-trio Lady Antebellum have been announced as the hosts of the Premiere Radio Networks Country Music Association (CMA) Awards special. The four-hour radio special features interviews with nominated artists Martina McBride, Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts, Sugarland, Taylor Swift, and Keith Urban among many other stars. The special will air on Premiere Radio Networks across the United States.

Laura Bell Bundy and Craig Morgan will host specials the day of the awards, and Premiere will broadcast the awards live on its radio stations. Laura Bell will co-host the post-award telecast with Premiere Networks personality Larry Morgan. Craig will host the red carpet special and ask stars questions live on the radio as they make their way into the Bridgestone Arena.

The 45th annual Country Music Association (CMA) Awards hosted by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood will air live on ABC at 8 pm EST on November 9th.

Blake Shelton, Craig Morgan & John Rich Elected to ACM Board

Congratulations go out to Blake Shelton, Craig Morgan and John Rich today on being elected to join the Academy of Country Music’s for the Artist/Entertainer/MBI category. The three singers will be part of the board of directors for the Academy for the 2011-2012 term. Each director serves a staggered two year term, with half the board membership changing each year.

Craig Morgan was the emcee at the Field & Stream Heroes of Conservation Gala last week in Washington, D.C. He recognized the 2011 Heroes Of Conservation for the organization. He both hosted the event and performed an intimate acoustic show after the dinner for the guests and honorees.
