Craig Morgan announced today that he is set to host his 6th annual Charity Weekend in his hometown of Dickson, TN, on August 11-12. The proceeds from the two-day event go to an organization that supports foster kids in Morgan’s hometown of Dickson and throughout Middle Tennessee called Billy’s Place. Over the course of the two-day events, there will be a Celebrity Motocross Ride, Sporting Clay Shoot, and a concert.
The family-friendly event will beginning on Saturday, August 11, with a motocross exhibition. Previous motocross participants have included Kevin Windham, Cowboy Kenny Bartram, Fred Andrews and Barry Hawk. Later that night, there will be an intimate, acoustic concert with Morgan and some of his country music friends. There will also be a live and silent auction.
On the morning of August, 12, there will be a Sporting Clay Shoot at the Nashville Gun Club. Teams of shooters will compete to show their finest shooting skills and attempt to dethrone Morgan, who was the celebrity co-captain of the winning team at this year’s NRA Country/ACM Shooting Clay Shoot.
All of the events are open to the public. Individual event and bundled tickets will go on sale in June. The celebrity participants for the events will be announced at a later date.
