]]> Top 24 American Idol finalist, Chase Likens, is season 11′s resident country boy. The 21-year-old hails from West Virginia and is a student at Marshall University. On Tuesday night, he performed a great version of Hunter Hayes‘ song, “Storm Warning.”

Last season, country talents and rising stars, Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina, took over the competition. We hope Chase continues the country music run on Idol and has a lot of success this year!

Catch American Idol Thursday night on Fox at 8/7c to see if Chase gains a spot in the Top 13.
