]]> Burns & Poe member Keith Burns has announced plans to hold a charity golf tournament on Monday, October 24th for his 18 year-old daughter Savannah who is battling leukemia. The tournament will be held at the Ravenwood Country Golf Club Course in Hermitage, Tennessee at 8 am CST.

The tournament will also have a silent auction and an acoustic show at Dan McGuinness at 3:30 pm CST in Nashville. Performers include Joe Diffie, Dave Innis of Restless Heart, Julie Roberts, Ty Brown, Burnie Nelson and many more friends of Keith.

]]> Steel Magnolia and Joe Nichols are the latest acts added on to the Country Weekly Fashion Show lineup. The event is part of the Musician’s on Call program, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in America. Both Steel Magnolia and Nichols will perform at the event, while other country stars will walk the catwalk. Hosted by Suzanne Alexander, the full list of participants is below the cut.  You can catch this special event in Nashville on June 7th. Tickets are available on ticketmaster.com.
