Danielle Peck added to Angels on Earth benefit concert

Danielle Peck, chart-topping country music star, has been added to the “Angels On Earth” benefit concert for Nashville, TN resident, Theresa Lawton. Lawton sustained several traumatic injuries after she was struck by a drunk driver on her way to church on January 30, 2013.

Peck joins an already star-studded evening of music featuring Bucky Covington, Julie Roberts, Jason Crabb and Brian Nutter from Keith Urban‘s band as well as hit songwriters. Emceed by News Channel 5′s Rhori Johnston, the event is sure to be an amazing night of music all for a great cause. The evening will also include a silent auction.

Bucky Covington Honored at 51st Annual IAFF Convention

Bucky Covington was recently honored at the 51^st Annual International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) Convention in Philadelphia, PA with a personalized fire fighter helmet. The gift came as a surprise to Covington as a thank you for his passionate work with the organization’s Charitable Foundation. Over the last year, Bucky has worked with Help The Good Guys and the IAFF Charitable Foundation to provide financial relief to injured fire fighters, hosting benefit events, visiting burn centers and burn camps and making donations from his music and merchandise sales.

On August 11th, he will appear at the Fairgrounds Speedway in Nashville, TN during the Legends Car Race. There, he will drive a custom-made Legends Racecar to benefit Help The Good Guys and the Nashville Local 140 Fire Fighter’s Relief Fund. Following the race, he’ll perform a concert all to benefit our country’s brave fire fighters.

Additionally, Bucky will be releasing his sophomore album, aptly entitled Good Guys, on September 11th. A portion of the proceeds from his first week sales will benefit the IAFF Charitable Foundation.

Maxim to Premiere Bucky Covington’s New Video

Bucky Covington and Shooter Jennings have teamed up with Maxim.com to premiere their wild new music video for “Drinking Side of Country.” The neo-outlaw action filled adventure features guest appearances by Kellie Pickler, X Games medalist Kenny Bartram, and TNA Impact Knockout Wrestler Mickie James. The music video is available NOW for fans to watch on Maxim.com, so click here to watch “Drinking Side of Country” right here on Maxim’s site. The video will be featured on other online outlets and televisions stations in the next few days.

The video was filmed in Greensburg, Kentucky earlier this year during a record-setting heatwave in the region. The song was a co-write by Bucky with his twin brother Rocky, and Ducky Medlock, and will be featured on Bucky’s upcoming album “Good Guys,” due out September 11th.

Bucky Covington recently filmed his brand new music video for “Drinking Side of Country” with Shooter Jennings. The video, which will premiere within the next few weeks, features tons of neo-outlaw country action as the pair are up to no good, run into trouble with the law, and end up in a high-speed chase in the middle of Greensberg, Kentucky. The crazy video also features cameos by country star Kellie Pickler, 5-time WWE Champion and current TNA Impact Knockout wrestler Mickie James, and freestyle motocrosser Cowboy Kenny Bartram.

“Drinking Side Of Country” was co-written by Bucky and his twin brother Rocky with Ducky Medlock. The single was produced by Bucky, and will be on his brand new album “Good Guys” due out September 11th. Bucky’s album will also feature his hit single “I Wanna Be That Feeling,” so make sure to pick up your copy when it comes out!

Last Friday, Bucky Covington fans got a nice little surprise at his show at WILD BILL’S in Duluth, Georgia when Lady Antebellum‘s Hillary Scott and Charles Kelley came on stage. Charles and Hillary dropped in after their “Own The Night” tour stop at the Gwinnett Center to join Bucky in covering John Mellencamp’s “Hurts So Good” at the end of his set.

Bucky Covington Shares Details for Sold-Out Fan Club Party & Free Public Concert

Bucky Covington will be partying with his most-devoted fans on Wednesday, June 6, at Whiskey Bent Saloon in Nashville. Tickets to this event were a hot commodity and the party was sold-out within hours. Due to the overwhelming response, Bucky has opted to extend the party with a free, full-band show later that same night.

The sold-out fan club party will begin at 8:30pm for ticket holders and will include autographs, a fan Q&A, an acoustic performance and the opportunity to mingle with Covington. Following this intimate event, the downstairs area of Whiskey Bent will open to the public for a free, full-band performance that will start around 10:30pm.

Fans that aren’t in Nashville can get their Bucky Covington fix by listening to his new single, “I Wanna Be That Feeling,” off his forthcoming album “I’m Alright.” For more info on Bucky, check out: www.buckycovington.com.

2012 City of Hope Celebrity Softball Challenge Roster

The 22nd Annual City of Hope Celebrity Softball Challenge is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 9, 2012 in Nashville, Tennessee, and the first several players on the roster have been announced! Suiting up for the cause are: Carrie Underwood, Scotty McCreery, Brantley Gilbert, Lauren Alaina, David Nail, James Otto, Robin Meade, Scott Hamilton, Chuck Wicks, Whitney Duncan, Bucky Covington, Sarah Darling, Billy Gilman, Kristen Kelly and Two Foot Fred. The AfterMidnite and Grand Ole Opry players rosters will be updated as more players commit to the event.

The City of Hope Celebrity Softball Challenge has raised almost $2 million dollars since its inception. The cause benefits City of Hope as it strives to find cures and more effective treatment for cancer and other diseases. Tickets to the game are on sale now at Ticketmaster. Come out and watch some of your favorite artists battle it out on the field in support of those battling for their lives!

It was a scary moment this afternoon for country music singer Bucky Covington. His tour bus was involved in an accident today on I-65 in Birmingham, Alabama. Bucky was on the way to his shows this weekend when the crash occurred. Bucky was not on-board the bus at the time of the incident as he was already dropped off earlier in the day for an appointment elsewhere.

At print, there is no injuries as a result of the accident, but check out the scary picture below sent to us from Bucky’s team. Tonight’s show, and Bucky’s concerts this weekend, will go on as scheduled.

Bucky is now out looking for a new tour bus.

Bucky Covington Video Premier Today

Country music artist Bucky Covington is celebrating the release of his music video for “I Wanna Be That Feeling” today. The video was directed by Kristin Barlowe and filmed in the abandoned Tennessee State Prison. Fans can catch the premiere of the video tonight at 4:30 pm EST on GAC-TV. The video will be available on other outlets, including online outlets, in the next few weeks.

“I Wanna Be That Feeling” is a co-write by Ben Hayslip and Jimmy Yeary. The highly anticipated single is Bucky’s first in over two years. While it doesn’t officially impact radio until May 7th, the single is available for fans to purchase right now on iTunes. It’s the lead single from Bucky’s upcoming sophomore album, due out later this year on Entertainment One.

Bucky Covington Releases New Single

After signing a record deal with Entertainment One Music Group late last year, Bucky Covington is finally releasing a brand new single to country radio this week. “I Wanna Be That Feeling” is the lead-off single from Bucky’s upcoming record later this year and is out at country music radio right now. His album is expected to be released mid-2012. While the single was sent out to country radio this week, the official add date isn’t until May 7th. “I Wanna Be That Feeling” is an uptempo love song that was co-written by Ben Hayslip and Jimmy Yeary.

Bucky is getting ready for a busy touring season. He recently performed at two dates to help benefit injured firefighters and police officers for one of his favorite charities, Help The Good Guys. The next tour date in support of the charity is April 22nd in Little Rock, AR. The charity supports injured police officers and firefighters who are unable to work due to life altering injuries who may not return to work. The organization was founded by retired Metro Nashville Police Officer Mickey Milam.
