Sarah Darling’s New Single on iTunes

With all the rain/storms nationwide, it seems only appropriate for Sarah Darling to release her single, “Little Umbrellas” this week. This single is the country star’s first independent single release and the follow-up to her early 2013 hit, “Home To Me.” Sure to be a summertime anthem, “Little Umbrellas” will become available for radio adds on June 24th.

The iTunes single release comes just in time for the 2013 CMA Music Festival, which has officially taken over Nashville. Attendees can see Darling perform “Little Umbrellas” and other fan-favorite songs from former albums today at 1:40 p.m. CDT at the Bud Light Stage, located on the Bridgestone Arena Plaza. Brightly colored “Sarah Darling” branded parasols and copies of her “Little Umbrellas” single are now available to fans through the Nashville Convention & Visitors Bureau at the Visitor Center located inside the Bridgestone Arena. Sarah will sign them for fans at the Visitor Center immediately following her performance from 2:30-3:30 p.m. CDT.

The new group of performers join previously announced performers, including Underwood’s co-host Brad Paisley, Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Kelly Clarkson & the Zac Brown Band.

Jason Aldean, Little Big Town & Kelly Clarkson to Perform at CMA Awards

ABC has announced the first round of performers for the 46th CMA Awards, taking place at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on November 1st. Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Kelly Clarkson and Little Big Town are the first acts to be announced with many more to come.

While Aldean, Bentley & Little Big Town aren’t surprises, we have to wonder what Kelly Clarkson will be performing. Will we be getting a countrified “Mr. Know It All” or is KC finally releasing a full country single. We sure hope that it’s the latter!

The show will be hosted by Brad Paisley & Carrie Underwood. It airs on ABC on November 1.

VIDEO: Kelly Clarkson Takes Us to Church with a Vince Gill Cover

It’s no secret to the world that Kelly Clarkson can sing absolutely anything. It’s also no secret to the world that Kelly Clarkson absolutely ROCKS when she dips her toes into country music. Although we’re holding out hope that she eventually dips way more than her toes, for the time being, we’ll take what we can get.

On Saturday, September 15th, KC took the stage in her new permanent hometown of Nashville to blow the roof off the Bridgestone arena. (Trust us, we were there.) Performing in the Capital of Music City, it was a shock to no one when she opted to cover a country song.

Dedicating the song to her guitarist’s deceased uncle, Clarkson literally took Bridgestone to church with a powerful rendition of Vince Gill‘s “Go Rest High on That Mountain.”

Despite the time change, Roberts is full of excitement about June 9th. “My Fan Club Party is always my favorite event of my entire year! I cannot wait for Saturday, June 9! I am honored to have been asked to open Saturday night at LP field by singing our National Anthem,” Roberts says. “In order to do both the party and anthem, I had to adjust the time for the party a little and I pray that everyone can still come and party with me.”

Although all previously purchased tickets will be honored, fans can email Store@JulieRoberts.com to have their money refunded if they can no longer attend. An email will also be sent to all ticket holders, notifying them of the time change.

Roberts also launched the “Perfectly Perfect Package” this year to bring fans on stage for a special performance, and to her surprise, the packages have completely sold out. “I cannot believe so many of the Perfectly Perfect Packages were sold! This is something new I am doing this year and I think it’s going to be SO MUCH FUN singing with my fans actually onstage with me!,” she said.

Kelly Clarkson Sings With Jason Aldean & Surprises Nashville Crowd

Jason Aldean brought his My Kinda Party Tour to Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN Friday night, February 24, but this time he brought along a special guest. Throughout the tour, Lauren Alaina, one of Jason’s opening acts, normally returns to the stage to perform “Don’t You Wanna Stay” with him. Tonight, Kelly Clarkson made an appearance and sang with Jason while she was in town between her tour dates.

Clarkson surprised Jason by coming out on the side of the stage, as Lauren usually enters on the back of the stage on an elevator that comes up through the floor. Jason is all ready to welcome Kelly on the back of the stage, when the roar of the crowd gets loud and Jason still doesn’t see Kelly. Instead she took the side stage route, as her heels wouldn’t have worked well with the grates on the ramps of the stage. At the end of the video, you can see her pointing to her shoes before she leaves to give off why she came out on the side.

We have posted a video of the performance below, check it out! This song has been such a smash, we love seeing Kelly and Jason perform it together again and again!
