Brett Eldredge became the first new artist to receive an honorary “Friends & Family” membership into the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. The honor was given to Brett on the evening of his tenth Grand Ole Opry performance, which featured his new hot single “It Ain’t Gotta Be Love.”

You can catch Brett on tour throughout the rest of the year. His next tour stop is Saturday in Washington at the Washington State Fair. For a full list of tour dates see his official site.

Brett Eldredge’s Big Return

Brett Eldredge.

Atlantic Records artist Brett Eldredge returned the historic Grand Ole Opry last night, September 27th, 2011. He made his debut on October 29th, 2010, almost a year ago, and yesterday was his tenth appearance since then. He joined Rascal Flatts, Terri Clark, and Charlie Daniels on the bill for performances Tuesday night.

He performed his new single “It Ain’t Gotta Be Love,” which will be featured on his debut record. It’s the follow-up release to his critically acclaimed “Raymond,” a touching single about Alzheimers. He’s about to go on a Fall tour  after playing with Brad Paisley all Summer long. For tour dates, see his official website.

Just A Couple of Parting Gifts for Brad Paisley

Its not uncommon for artists to exchange gifts at the end of a long tour. Kenny Chesney gifted Dierks Bentley a shiny boat when he opened for him. This is completely normal. So it would come as no surprise that Brett Eldredge, who served as opening act on Brad Paisley’s “H2O II: Wetter & Wilder” Tour, would gift his summer boss a nice car in appreciation for having him along. Or did he? Click the “read more” tab and judge for yourself!

Brett Eldredge’s Thank You Prank to Brad Paisley

Brett Eldredge.

If you’re going to tour with Brad Paisley, you have to be ready for the man’s pranks. Sometimes, there are a few artists that are brave enough to try to get even with him in the prank war. That was Brett Eldredge’s idea when he decided to continue the tradition of thanking the headlining artist for having them on your tour. Brett bought Brad a special gift for letting him tag along on his H20 II tour, reports Taste of Country. See the picture under the “read more” button.
