They may be a new name in country music, but the guys of Florida Georgia Line (FGL) are quickly cruising up the country radio charts with their first single “Cruise.” The country rock duo’s summertime anthem has already hit the Top 50 on the Music Row Country Breakout Chart, selling over 20,000 copies in just seven weeks.

“Cruise” is featured on their new Big Loud Mountain EP “It’z Just What We Do” produced by Joey Moi (Jake Owen, Nickelback). The EP debuted at number 35 on Billboard’s Country Albums Chart and the EP is available at all digital retailers.

“Cruise” was written by FGL’s Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley along with Joey Moi, Chase Rice and Jesse Rice and is quickly becoming a fan favorite during live shows. It has received rave reviews from critics and country radio. SiriusXM recently named the track a Highway Find and Music Row Magazine awarded the track the Discovery Award. The mag describes the song, saying, “After an a cappella intro, this takes off like a speedboat on a glassy lake. The track is rushing and wooshing, and the voices are sprightly. What more do you want? Get on board.” American Songwriter notes, “…it’s likely already attached itself into the heads of everyone who’s listened to it…”

This up and coming duo will be cruising across the U.S. all summer long with the 2012 Country Throwdown Tour with Gary Allan, Rodney Atkins, and Justin Moore.
