Thompson Square Releases “Just Feels Good” Album

Thompson Square is back with new music!

Today, the country duo released their second album, Just Feels Good.

Just Feels Good is the follow-up to their self-titled debut album, which contained the number one platinum-selling smash, “Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not.” Their debut record garnered them several awards including the CMA for Vocal Duo of the Year and ACM for Top Vocal Duo.

Just Feels Good includes their current single, “If I Didn’t Have You.” The song was a Top 20 hit on U.S. Billboard Country Songs chart and a Top 10 charter with U.S. Billboard Country Airplay.

The reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year is having quite a busy week. Season 4 of NBC’s The Voice kicked off last night, his new album drops today, and a whirlwind round of promo appearances begins.

Plus, the album’s lead single “Sure Be Cool If You Did” marked its third consecutive week at number one last Tuesday. That’s an impressive 13 number ones for Mr. Shelton!

Taylor Swift Fans Are Seeing “Red”

Today marks the release of Taylor Swift‘s fourth album, “Red.” To celebrate this event, Clear Channel Radio will be airing an album release party, hosted by Ryan Seacrest (check your local listings for what time this event will air). The radio special will include songs and clips from Taylor’s new album, as well as an exclusive interview. Taylor will also share personal stories and her influences behind the tracks which make up the highly-anticipated “Red.”

Clear Channel is also instituting an “Artist Integration Program,” which will allow Taylor’s fans to access exclusive extended versions of interviews online, complete with video content and instant access to download a copy of “Red.” As if Clear Channel isn’t already bringing enough Taylor excitement to her fans, now through November 9th, fans can enter for their chance to win a “24-Hour Dream Life” contest. Gloriana Releasing Their Sophomore Album July 31

Country music trio, Gloriana, will be releasing their second album on July 31, 2012. The group’s sophomore album, entitled “A Thousand Miles Left Behind,” contains eleven tracks – all of which were co-written by the Gloriana members. Also a prevalent writer on the album is Matt Serletic, a GRAMMY Award winning producer and owner of Emblem Music Group. Co-writing credits are also given to Josh Kear, Hillary Lindsey, James Slater, Danny Myrick, Stephanie Bentley, and more.

With their current single at #15 on the Billboard Country Singles chart, Gloriana is eager to release their next project, which will be “honest and come from a place that’s real.” The trio explains that the new album feels like them and exemplifies where the group is now and where they want to be in the future. “A Thousand Miles Left Behind” will consist of a mix of up-tempo songs and heartfelt tunes.

Tim McGraw’s Album Release Pushed Back

As you know, it has been quite a struggle for Tim McGraw to release his upcoming album, Emotional Traffic.

After a legal battle with Curb Records, a Nashville court freed McGraw from his contract and permitted him to sign elsewhere. Since the decision, the label has been releasing singles to radio and finally set a date for the album.

Last month, it was reported that the album would drop on January 17th. However, Emotional Traffic is now being pushed back another week and is expected to be released on January 24th.

Josh Gracin’s “Redemption” Drops On November 8th

Josh Gracin is set to release his third album, Redemption, on November 8th. The country singer first gained acknowledgment as a fourth place finalist on the second season of American Idol back in 2003.

Gracin wrote or co-wrote nearly every song on the new album. Redemption includes his top-20 Adult Contemporary hit, “Long Way To Go.” One of the tracks, titled “Catastrophe,” was co-written by fellow American Idol Season 2 alum and winner, Ruben Studdard. The only track on the record that Gracin did not help pen is his cover of the John Mayer song, “Edge of Desire.”
