On March 4th, Martina McBride‘s much-anticipated album, Everlasting, will hit stores. The album won’t be your typical album, but is instead a collection of iconic soul and R&B songs. The album was produced by Grammy-winning legend, Don Was, and includes songs such as Aretha Franklin’s “Do Right Woman, Do Right Man,” Elvis Presley’s “Suspicious Minds” and Van Morrison’s “Wild Night.” The album also features a duet with Kelly Clarkson on “In the Basement” and Gavin DeGraw on “Bring It On Home To Me”
“I love soulful music and it just made sense to me to stretch a bit at this time and do something that fills my heart and allows me to explore a little bit,” said Martina. “I have worked hard to choose some of the best and most loved classics, much like I did with ‘Timeless,’ and interpret them in a way that is faithful to the original, but still has my own artistic spin to make it mine.”
“Working with Don was a dream come true,” continued Martina. “He is so musical and really helped me focus on how to do these songs in a way that not only features the vocal, but also connects this music with what I’ve done in the past in a really honest and organic way. Putting out new music is one of the most exciting things we can do as performers, and I can’t wait to take this music on tour.”
The album will be released on McBride’s own Vinyl Records through Kobalt label services.

Country bad-boy, Eric Church, is adding more gasoline to the flames of fans’ anticipation for the upcoming release of his new album The Outsiders, with the release of the second single “Give Me Back My Hometown“.
This wistful song, written by Church and Luke Laird, is sure to be a hit with listeners who grooved on out to “Like Jesus Does” and “Homeboy“. Simultaneously rock and country, and all signature Eric Church, “Give Me Back My Hometown” follows quick on the heels of the highly touted first single “The Outsiders“.
“Church was already at the vanguard of contemporary country’s rock movement… Like a modern-day Lynyrd Skynyrd, Church manages to be simultaneously more rock’n’roll and good-old-boy than anyone else out there – no easy task,” Billboard Magazine wrote about this ACM and CMA award winner. And Rolling Stone named “The Outsiders” one of the “100 Best Songs of 2013″ citing “Leave it to the classic rock-loving Nashville badass to cook up the heaviest ‘country’ song in years – a radio hit that plays like some demon spawn of Def Leppard, Black Sabbath, and “Born to Be Wild.”"
The Outsiders will be Church’s fourth studio album and fourth collaboration with producer Jay Joyce (Emmylou Harris, Little Big Town) and follows in the footsteps of Platinum-certified Chief, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard charts.
Big boots to fill, but “Give Me Back My Hometown” goes a long way to filling them.

Arista recording artists, The Swon Brothers, have officially announced “Later On” as the debut single for their upcoming album. After playing it live, in a celebrated return performance to The Voice in December, the Team Blake finalists have been drumming up anticipation for this release.
The single shipped today to country radio stations and although, the official radio airplay date is set for March of this year; fans have been able to download the song from iTunes since December. Within 24 hours of its availability, listeners pushed “Later On” to #1 on iTunes’ Top Country Song charts!
The duo is pleased that the song is resonating with their fans as much as it does with themselves. Zack Swon was quoted as saying, “We are beyond blessed and excited to be releasing our very first single on Arista Nashville! We believe that with the love and support from our fans this song has big potential.”
“We’ve waited and prayed for this moment our whole lives and it’s finally here! We are more than ready to meet all the folks at country radio and want to say thank you in advance for welcoming your two new brothers to the family!” added by his brother, Colton Swon.
For now, The Swon Brothers are hard at work with producer Mark Bright (Carrie Underwood and Sara Evans) on their debut album under Arista Nashville. The date for the album may be set for later this year, but fans who just can’t wait, can download the debut single, “Later On”, here.

Riding high from the RIAA Gold Certification of lead single, “Whatever She’s Got,” David Nail will release his third album, I’m A Fire, on March 4. The MCA Nashville artist worked with producers Frank Liddell, Chuck Ainlay and Glenn Worf.
Nail says “There’s so many moments on this record that make me think about the last four years that I’ve been married, and I’m a Fire just sums it all up.” He adds “It [the title track] says, ‘I’ve walked through flames, come out on the other end, and the foremost reason is because of you.’”
The album features 11 new tracks including “When They’re Gone (Lyle County)” featuring Little Big Town and co-written by Brett Eldredge, “Kiss You Tonight” a song that expresses the strong emotion that we all feel at some point in our lives for another, the steamy “Burnin’ Bed” (co-written by Brandy Clark) and a duet version of Glen Campbell’s “Galveston” with Lee Ann Womack.
Dierks Bentley‘s highly-anticipated new album, RISER, will hit stores on February 25, 2014. It is Bentley’s seventh studio album and will continue his trend of lyrical substance and pure sonic power combined with his distinct country voice. The album’s lead single, “I Hold On,” is currently climbing the country charts.
“I named the album RISER because the lyrics in that song perfectly articulate who I want to be, who I try to be,” Bentley explains. “There’s a lot of really intense material on this record, but there’s also a lighter side that is equally important in telling the story of the last two years of my life. When I first started writing for this album, I was in a place of grief over the loss of my dad, but over the course of the next 18 months, my wife and I had our son Knox, and I ended in a place of real joy and gratefulness. Both sides of that coin are what country music has always been about, and I hope that my fans can feel how much of myself I put into this project. It’s all out on the table, for sure.”
