Deana Carter Takes Over SiriusXM’s Prime Country

Deana Carter

She’s back, and hopefully she shaved her legs for this! Award-winning multi-platinum singer/songwriter, Deana Carter, is preparing for her December 2nd release of her new studio album, Southern Way Of Life. In anticipation of the album, on Tuesday, November 26th, Deana will take over SiriusXM’s Prime Country, Channel 58. Aptly called “Deana Day,” the channel will showcase Deana’s music throughout the day, featuring exclusive performances throughout a twenty-four hour block.

Additionally, the video for the lead single “Do or Die,” exclusively premiered on USAToday.com to celebrate Deana’s upcoming trip to New York where she will perform on December 4th and 5th at the famous Joe’s Pub as part of the critically-acclaimed CMA Songwriter Series.

“I am so anxious to share this new music with everyone,” says Deana. “I know it has been a really long time since I have released anything and a lot of people are hitting me up on my socials wanting to know. Well, Cyber Monday it is. This has been a very cathartic process for me. I am so proud to be able to say that this is the debut on Little Nugget Records as well,” she continues.

On this, her sixth release, Deana is in full swing in promoting her new music. She recently made her Grand Ole Opry debut, which was a life-long dream for the Nashville native, as well as opening her Little Nugget Records, a tribute to her father’s Nugget Records and has been writing for her next project and for film and television.

Check out Deana’s video on USAToday.com, and make sure to tune into SiriusXM’s Prime Country to get a little bit of “Strawberry Wine” on your Tuesday before Thanksgiving!

JT Hodges Taking It To The Fans Release Week

J.T. Hodges

JT Hodges will be a pretty busy guy next week with the release of his debut, self-titled album. He’ll be interacting with fans as he counts down the hours to the release of his highly anticipated album: including an interactive internet chat, a stop his hometown of Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, and visiting of the biggest shopping malls in the world at Mall of America in Minneapolis. He’ll also be previewing his album for his fans with an appearance on Sirius/XM’s The Highway’s broadcast of interviews and band performances, which kicked off on August 13th, and runs until release day on August 21st.

When JT released his debut single “Hunt You Down” last year, he quickly put faith in fans and the music industry and became one of the most engaged artists in country music through social media and constant touring. He even had his fans pick his next single, “Sleepy Little Town,” through a vote on his official Facebook fan page. The single will be released to country radio on September 10th.

“It’s only natural that JT decided to spend release week with the fans who have so actively supported him on his first two singles,” said Bill Kennedy, Show Dog-Universal Music’s VP of Sales, Marketing and New Media.  “From the moment we released his first single, JT has been directly engaged with music fans through his various social sites and especially through his touring, We at the label agreed with JT that spending this important first week with the people who brought him to the dance was time well spent.”

JT will kick off his release week events with a special online 30-minute chat and performance at 7 pm CST. It’s the latest episode of “Just Talkin’,” and can be streamed on his Ustream page right here. On August 20th, JT takes it to the streets in his hometown of Dallas-Fort Worth with a special meet-and-greet at Joe T Garcia’s in Fort Worth. On release day, August 21st, he’ll be holding a special in-store performance at the Southwest Loop Best Buy in Fort Worth. On the 24th, he’ll be doing an autograph signing and performance at the Best Buy at the Mall of America.

JT’s self-titled debut CD is one of our favorites of 2012, and is available for pre-order right now on jthodges.com. Fans can order a digital copy through iTunes, or a physical copy through Amazon.
