Here’s her golden rules for a happy marriage:

1) The twosome have promised to not spend more than two weeks apart.

2)  They don’t keep secrets.  The couple has each other’s phone passwords, so no more snooping!

3) They stay in touch. “We talk at least once a day, and we text a lot,” she says.

4) They plan downtime.  “We hang out as best friends,” she tells Us. “Me and Blake have full-on parties by ourselves, listening to music.”

5) He has to please the missus.  Lambert made demands for the pair’s L.A. rental home: “I told him he would have to get me a place with a pool and a yard for the dogs, and he did!’

Make sure to pick up a copy of US Weekly when it hits stands nationwide on Friday.

LeAnn Rimes opens up about her weight

leann rimes

After questions and controversy have followed LeAnn Rimes for years, she finally opened up about her weight to a British magazine. In her interview with Fabulous, she speaks about her weight, why fans don’t need to be concerned, her self confidence, becoming a step-mother, and her treatments for anxiety and stress.

On if she has purposely tried to gain weight since fans and media became concerned, she said:

“I never tried to lose weight and I never tried to gain it. It depends on how stressed I am. I was eating a ton and couldn’t put on weight!”

But the important question: is she happy with how she looks?

“I’m secure with my body. Trust me, there are moments when I’ve stood in the mirror and gone: “Oh my God, I’m getting cellulite!” but then I stand in a different light and I’m like: “Oh, it’s not so bad now.” I have my moments, like every woman.”

It’s been a whirlwind for years for The Band Perry, and with their forthcoming sophomore album Pioneer hitting stores on April 2, the trio shows no signs of slowing down. They’ve already had a #1 single with the album’s first track “Better Dig Two,” worked with super-producer Rick Rubin, and this week, the band covers Billboard magazine.

Read on for some excerpts from the story and be sure to pick up the issue on newsstands.

On working on the new album: ”Even more than pressure, we felt responsibility to even have the opportunity to record a second album,” Kimberly says, “because the fans making the first record such a success was in itself such a gift. The three of us felt the responsibility to dig as deep as we could, and we definitely dug deep.”

To begin the recording process, we took a road trip out to Malibu, Calif.,” Reid says, “and during that time we wrote a lot of the music along the way, including at the Grand Canyon. We wrote the song ‘Pioneer’ in Santa Fe, N.M.” They eventually made it to Malibu and met with Rubin. “Rick helped us refine the songs,” Reid says.

About working with Rick Rubin: ”Rick also opened up our minds to the spirit behind music,” Kimberly says. “He was a teacher in that area. There were times where we walked into the control room that he had tears in his eyes because the music so moved him.”
