Ronnie Dunn & Toby Keith teaming up for Oklahoma

Ronnie Dunn.

Country icon Ronnie Dunn is teaming up with Toby Keith for a big benefit concert benefitting the victims of the Moore, Oklahoma concert. The two superstars have been working hard since they heard the news of the EF5 tornado. The two have actually jumped Garth Brooks’ fence to get him into the show… and it worked.

Ronnie said this on Facebook:

We were up all night firing texts and emails. Toby and I climbed over Garth’s fence. He’s in…just rying to figure out how to make it all happen for the best !!!!….but, “he still has to clear things with Trisha” . Janine (Oklahoma girl) just wants me out of the house…period.
We’re ALL in agreement…”it’s Toby’s town and we want to be respectful and do the right thing by following his lead.”
Everyone involved is feeling like THIS needs to be organic and REAL…..”get down in the dirt”. Take it straight to the people without a tremendous amount of pomp….but BIIIIIG !!!

THIS IS REALLY EXCITING !!! RD

We can’t wait to see who else will join this line-up for a great cause. Our thoughts remain with Moore, Oklahoma.

Two members of Lady Antebellum took time off of their busy schedules to visit patients at Kravis Children’s Hospital in New York as part of Musicians On Call (MOC). Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley gave an intimate performance which included their own songs, and some favorite kid-friendly tunes. Their acoustic set was broadcast on Mount Sinai’s KidZone TV, and they answered questions from the children in attendance. The group also made a donation to LadyAID, their charity, and MOC. LadyAID is their foundation, which was founded to raise awareness and generate support for the plight of children locally, nationally, and globally who cannot help themselves.

After their performance, Dave and Charles visited children at their bedsides in the pediatric unit who were unable to attend the performance. Check out the pictures below of their performance and let us know what you think of their new album “Golden” which was released earlier this week.
