James Otto to play at Billy Dean’s Birthday Bash
Country music star James Otto will be on hand to celebrate a pretty special birthday for a fellow artist. He’s been asked by Billy Dean to perform at his annual Birthday Bash held on the Dean Acres. The best part? The event is open to fans who purchase tickets in advance! Billy’s Birthday Bash will be held on April 27th at 5 pm just outside Nashville in Liberty, Tennessee.
To celebrate his 51st birthday, Billy will once again open the Dean Acres to country fans. It’s become an annual event since 2011, which has sold-out every year since. Dean Acres recently went under renovations with their 100-year old barn for a stage that can fit up to 200 fans.
Ticket holders will be treated to a special Brunch with the Dean family the morning after the party back on the farm. You can’t get more country than that. Tickets are on-sale now at deanacres.com.

Happy birthday Reba McEntire! She’s turning 57 today and she’s looking just as beautiful as ever. This is one of my favorite underrated Reba songs, but make sure you let us know what your favorite Reba single is of all-time.
We’ll be seeing her live at Capital Hoedown in Ottawa, Canada in August!

Taylor Swift Celebrates Birthday In The Studio
Yesterday (12/13), Taylor Swift spent most of her birthday working away in the studio on her upcoming album. The country music superstar, now 22, did manage to find some time to tweet her “Studio/birthday/new album/red shoes.” In addition, she sent out a message to fans:
Best. Birthday. Ever. Thank you for all the birthday wishes. You made me feel really special today :) :) :)
Although her special day consisted of working hard at doing what she does best, Taylor’s record label found it fitting to celebrate with a cake.

Happy birthday to country music singer Gary Allan! He turns 44 today. He has two House Of Blues shows left this year, a back-to-back show Friday and Saturday night at the Las Vegas House Of Blues. Both shows are 18 and over only and general admission. There are still tickets left for both dates on the official House Of Blues ticketing website.

Reid Perry, one member of the family trio The Band Perry, is celebrating his birthday today. The bass player, who also sings harmony in the group, is turning 23 today. Happy birthday Reid Perry from all of us at Keepin’ it Country! We hope it’s a good one.
