When Lee Brice married Sara Reeveley in April 2013, he decide to write the song the couple would dance to for their first dance as husband and wife. The result was “I Don’t Dance,” a beautiful love song that would cause any woman to swoon.
The ACM nominee for male vocalist of the year, released the lyric video for the track to Country Weekly and we are absolutely obsessed with this song.

Congratulations to the obviously not so Hard to Love, Lee Brice, and his wife, Sara, on their soon-to-be addition to their beautiful family! Lee boasted on Facebook today “The only thing more beautiful than my Sara, is my Sara carrying my second little baby boy! I’m gonna be a daddy again!!!”
Best of luck to Lee, Sara, and the rest of the Brice clan as they await the arrival of their newest member!
Curb recording artist Lee Brice headlined Joe’s Bar on Friday, August 16th with a portion of the proceeds benefitting ACM Lifting Lives, the charitable arm of the Academy of Country Music. The show raised more than $28,000 for ACM Lifting Lives – more than this series of events has ever raised at Joe’s — which will go to help fund organizations that are improving lives through the power of music.
Ed Warm, co-owner of the two-time ACM Nightclub of the Year and board member of both the Academy of Country Music and ACM Lifting Lives, spearheaded the show. This is the third Joe’s Bar performance that has benefitted ACM Lifting Lives. The first, in 2011, featured performances by ACM Award winner LeAnn Rimes and Crystal Bowersox and the second, in 2012, was headlined by Gary Allan.
If you live in Chicago, you’re about to get one heck of a party. The Academy of Country Music has announced their headliner for their Chicago ACM Cares Concert: Lee Brice! The 3rd Annual ACM Lifting Lives Concert will take place on Friday, August 16th at 8:30 pm CST at the famous Joe’s Bar on Weed Street. Doors will open at 7 pm CST.
A portion of ticket sales will benefit the ACM Lifting Lives charity. Tickets are $40 each and are now available through TicketWeb.com.
Will you be going to check out Lee’s show? Have you ever seen him perform live?
This fall, Lee Brice fans can get up close and personal with the new country superstar, who will be headlining intimate venues as a part of his “The Otherside Tour.” The 15-date tour will kick off in Boston on October 10 and run through November 30, in Orlando Florida.
While leaving a concert earlier this month, 9-year-old Michigan girl, Jaylynn Hiller, was struck by a vehicle (which was being operated by an intoxicated 18-year-old). Jaylynn suffered a fractured pelvis in the accident and was unable to attend Lee Brice‘s concert the following day due to her injuries.
When Lee caught word of Jaylynn’s accident, his management reached out to Jaylynn’s family and offered them backstage passes to an upcoming show. Since Lee has no remaining Michigan dates on his tour, Jaylynn and her family will save their money and attend the July 13, 2013 show in Ft. Laramie, Ohio. Jaylynn has a particular affinity for Lee, as her stepfather was recently killed in a car accident and, at the time of his death, his favorite song was none other than Lee’s heart-wrenching ballad “I Drive Your Truck.”
We wish Jaylynn a continued speedy recovery and cannot wait to hear about her evening with the one and only, Lee Brice.
Curb Records and Lee Brice light things up with his new summer anthem, “Parking Lot Party” which will be released on May 13th, 2013 and comes on the heels of his third #1 single in a row, “I Drive Your Truck” which was recently certified Gold by the RIAA. Lee Brice’s latest album continues to impress as TEA (track equivalent album) sales for the current album, Hard 2 Love are currently in excess of 730,000 units.
Also recently announced, Zippo Encore, with the company’s first partnership in the country music market, will be releasing two custom Lee Brice designed Zippo lighters available for sale on the road this summer when Lee joins Brad Paisley‘s Beat This Summer Tour presented by Cracker Barrel Old Country Store®.
Brice was recently nominated for the Nationwide Insurance On Your Side Award for “Best New Live Act” at this year’s CMT Music Awards. This award is determined by fan votes and will be presented via a video presentation during the 2013 CMT Music Awards which will air live from Nashville on June 5, 2013.
Congratulations to Curb Records artist Lee Brice! The singer-songwriter’s moving single “I Drive Your Truck” is his third consecutive number one single on both the Billboard and Mediabase country charts. The hit song is Lee’s third consecutive single off his sophomore release HARD 2 LOVE and has resonated with fans since first hitting the airwaves.
Lee isn’t surprised by how well country fans have been able to connect to the tune. He admits that he himself found a special connection, too:
“I was immediately drawn to this song, so I’m not surprised that fans have connected to it like they have. Since we put it out as a single, fans from across the country have shared their own ‘truck’ stories through just about any way they can – calling into the radio, on tour at meet and greet, Twitter, Facebook, emails and texts. I’m just glad I got to be a part of this special song and want to thank Country Radio for helping me share it.”
He recently announced that he will be joining Brad Paisley this summer on his Beat This Summer Tour. The first leg of the tour kicks off on May 9 in St. Louis, MO and will hit over 29 cities in the US and Canada through the summer months. For a full list of tour dates, visit leebrice.com.
