Tomorrow is a big day for Chuck Wicks, as his highly-anticipated single “Us Again” hits iTunes in advance of its January 27th release to radio. We got a sneak peek at the heartfelt ballad and we think Chuck just may have another hit on his hands.
The track is his debut single with new label, Blaster Records, and is a stunning ode to lost love. It’s a plea to get back to what once was and “just be us again.” Frankly, we’re not sure how any woman could possibly turn down a crooning like this one. Country music is no stranger to lovelorn ballads and in a sea of party songs, Chuck’s track is an earnest offering, a romantic breath of fresh air.
Love may be lost here, but Chuck isn’t willing to leave it in the past, pleading with his lover to give them another chance. He shares, “‘Us Again’ is one of those songs that reminds us all why we fall in love in the first place. It reminds us to never lose those moments that were so great and so simple in the beginning… and if we do? It’s never too late to get them back again.”
Chuck’s voice soars on the ballad, conveying hurt, desperation and longing. It’s a shame that he has yet to truly have a huge hit as he’s one of the best vocalists in country music today. If “Us Again” is any indication of his new music, we can’t wait for his new album, and we suspect that Chuck will soon be spinning his own track on America’s Morning Show on NASH-FM!
The track was co-written by Wicks, Andy Dodd and Tiffany Vartanyan, and will serve as the lead single for his upcoming album with Blaster Records. “Us Again” will be available for download via iTunes and other digital outlets tomorrow, January 21st, and will be going for radio adds on January 27th.
As we previously posted, Chuck Wicks found a new label home last December with Blaster Records. Now, he is releasing his new single, “Us Again”!

The song is being described as a contemplative love song. Wicks shares, “‘Us Again’ is one of those songs that reminds us all why we fall in love in the first place. It reminds us to never lose those moments that were so great and so simple in the beginning… and if we do? It’s never too late to get them back again.”
Blaster Records President, Derek Simon, had nothing but praise for Chuck. “Chucks Wicks is an incredible singer and an equally gifted writer,” says Simon. “He’s a consummate professional with an amazing connection to his audience. We expect that audience is going to grow exponentially with Chuck’s new music. We couldn’t be more excited about having him join our family.”
We are excited for new music from Wicks, and can’t wait for his new album!

He may be a new morning show DJ, but Chuck Wicks is still passionate about his music. The singer released his new video for “Salt Life” today on CMT Pure, CMT Mobile and CMT.com. “Salt Life” is the first single from Rough, Wicks’s EP released in April.
Fans can also hear Wicks every weekday from 6am – 10am on “America’s Morning Show” on New York’s NASH FM 94.7.
When NASH FM 94.7 premiered last year, New Yorkers breathed a sigh of relief as country had finally returned to the Big Apple. As the station continues to strike a chord with listeners in the Tri-State Area, Cumulus announced that “America’s Morning Show” will be hitting the air TOMORROW. June 20. The all-star cast at the helm of this endeavor includes radio veteran Blair Garner and music stars Terri Clark, Sunny Sweeney, Chuck Wicks and Lee Ann Womack.
The new morning show will begin later this month, airing weekdays from 6-10am. The show will feature country’s biggest hits and stars, as well as New York traffic and weather. The show will originate in Nashville before a studio audience, with frequent broadcasts from the NASH FM studios in Manhattan.
No one is more excited to take on New York’s country fans than Garner. “I am thrilled to begin waking up the New York area’s Country listeners on NASH FM 94.7 with an uplifting Country start to the day,” He said. “New Yorkers are embracing NASH FM in an amazing way and I look forward to bringing the Country music lifestyle to the Big Apple straight from Nashville.”

While hailing from California, Brodie Stewart still has some southern roots. As a young child, some of Brodie’s favorite things to do were attending the Rodeo, listening to country music, singing and playing the guitar. This is what influenced Brodie to start his own southern rock band, where he got to tour the country opening up for big artists in sold out arenas.
After this, Brodie returned to his love of country music. He wrote tracks for his own band, and also wrote and produced songs for various other artists. It wasn’t long until Brodie was signed by Martin Kierszenbaum, the president of Cherrytree/Interscope Records, for a song/production deal to their label. Not long after that, Brodie signed a publishing deal with Warner/Chappell Music Publishing.
While gearing up for the release of their debut album, “Born American,” The Brodie Stewart Band has been touring the west coast opening up for big names such as Lee Brice, Thompson Square, Easton Corbin, Joe Nichols, Blues Traveler, Lonestar, Chris Cable, Jason Michael Carroll, Terri Clark, Josh Gracin, Casey James, The Farm, Moonshine Bandits, Greg Bates, Christian Kane, Chuck Wicks, and many more!
