Today’s the day that Chris Cagle fans have been waiting for – a brand new studio album from the country singer. The Bigger Picture Group singer released “Back In The Saddle” everywhere today, which includes his top-15 Billboard hit single “I’ve Got My Country On” along with 10 other new tracks produced by ACM and CMA award winner Keith Stegall. Chris wrote five of the tracks: “Southern Girl,” “Something That Wild,” “Dance Baby, Dance,” “Now I Know What Mama Meant,” and his next single “Let There Be Cowgirls.” See the full track-listing below.
“The experience I’ve had making this record has rekindled the passion I had for music when I recorded my first record,” Cagle introduces. “BACK IN THE SADDLE is MY life! I wouldn’t change anything about it; it is a record that I can live or die by and be content. I have given the fans my heart and soul, if it’s not good enough, I can live with it. If it is good enough, well then, I can’t wait to see what happens!”
The album includes songs written by some of the top songwriters today, including Danny Myrick (Jason Aldean, Craig Morgan), the Warren Brothers (Dierks Bentley, Toby Keith, Martina McBride, Tim McGraw), and even Kim Trible (Journey, Shania Twain, Montgomery Gentry). Check out the full track listing of the 11-song album below and let us know what you think of Chris’ brand new studio record.
In other Chris news, he’ll be featured on GAC’s “On The Streets” tonight, so be sure to tune in in 25 minutes to catch his episode! If that’s too early, it will repeat all day including at 2 pm est, 5:30 pm est, and again at 11:30 pm est.
Chris Cagle released a new music video for his single “Got My Country On” earlier this week to CMT.com. The rocking single features live shots taken from his concerts at festivals and indoor venues, his life on the farm, and behind the scenes footage of Chris at his shows.
I love music videos where fans are included – they’re always so excited to be on camera! Check it out below:
Chris Cagle is gearing up to return to country music this year. After signing with Bigger Picture Music Group, Cagle has released “Got My Country On” to radio. The single, which he says is more who he is now than where he was a year or two ago, is one that he’s proud of and he’s hoping it will blow up on the charts.
Cagle filmed a YouTube video giving fans a look at his farm, his family, and why he’d record this song now when he would have “flipped it” a few years ago after the opening lines. See the video HERE and let us know what you think about his brand new single on his new label. Do you think it’s going to be what he needs to get him back on the charts?
We’re getting closer and closer to this year’s CMA Music Festival and GAC has just announced who will be signing at their booth this year! Check out who you can have a chance to meet below.
Thursday, June 7:
Please remember that autograph guidelines have changed for this year’s CMA Fest. Here is a highlight of how the new procedure works:
Fans will now enter a random drawing for the opportunity to meet various artists appearing in the Fan Fair Exhibit Hall. You will be able to enter the drawing at CMAfest.com. between May 14 (starting at 10:00 AM/CT) and May 28 (ending at 5:00 PM/CT). You will enter in your contact information and then select from the list of participating artists singing autographs in the Hall. You may select as many or as few artists as you’d like to meet. Once you submit your entry, you will not be allowed to go back in and change it so choose carefully! Duplicate entries will not be considered and all winners will be notified by Friday, June 1 via email.
CMA will also have a limited number of tickets on-site at the Festival for those who can’t get to a computer to register ahead of time. For more information on this, please see the Fan Fair Hall page at CMAfest.com.
Not every artist participating in the Fan Fair Hall will be part of the autograph drawing. There will be many opportunities for patrons to obtain multiple autographs from artists by just walking around the Fan Fair Hall. So don’t lose hope if you don’t get picked!
