Blake Shelton has selected upcoming tour mates The Band Perry to be advisors for his team this season on The Voice.
“Blake didn’t have to ask us twice if we wanted to mentor his team this season on The Voice,” shared The Band Perry. “It was so much fun to work with Team Blake, and after 15 years of receiving plenty of ‘constructive criticism,’ it was our turn to pay it forward. We just hope we were as helpful to Blake’s team as our own mentors have been to us through the years.”
E! News will give you an exclusive look inside rehearsals with Shelton, TBP and Team Blake tonight at 7:30 and 11:30 p.m. Make sure you tune in!
Meanwhile, Shakira and Usher are back to mix things up with Blake and Adam this season. Blake’s better half, Miranda Lambert, will be back as well but as an advisor for Team Shakira. That should make for some fun and interesting competition in the Shelton-Lambert house!
Season 6 of The Voice will kick off Monday, February 24th on NBC!
In 2013, Blake Shelton sold out theaters across America on his Ten Times Crazier 2013 Tour. Well, things are going to get even crazier this year, as Blake will hit the road on the 20+ date Ten Times Crazier Tour 2014, sponsored by Pepsi. He’ll be joined on the road by The Band Perry, Dan + Shay and Neal McCoy. The tour will kick off in June with stops everywhere from California to New York.
“I cannot wait to get back out on the road,” said Blake. “I had so much fun playing songs from Based On A True Story… and getting to see the crowd’s reaction to those songs was unforgettable. It is one of the most validating things for an artist like me, to have people sing along to your songs…it means what I’m doing is right and no matter what I’m doing, whether it is The Voice or a TV special, absolutely nothing compares to playing live for me.”

Blake Shelton has been rather quiet since Season 5 of The Voice came to an end. Fear not! Blake is alive, well, and hasn’t changed a bit since you last heard from him. Well, strike that. He is a bit more blessed than he was before, as the Shelton/Lambert household gained another member.
In a video, Blake explained to fans that he missed being outdoors and has kept a low profile lately to enjoy some time in nature. He also promised everyone that his excessive drinker status is accurate and not just made for TV. Most importantly, Blake discussed his bromance with fellow The Voice judge, Adam Levine.
It’s no secret that Blake Shelton is the most successful coach in the history of NBC’s The Voice. Not only has he won three times, but two of his winners have gone on to become two of country’s biggest rising stars. As he prepared to ring in 2014, Blake was joined by his two country ladies, Danielle Bradbery and Cassadee Pope, for a rousing performance of “Boys ‘Round Here.”

It’s no secret… We have a long-time crush on Blake Shelton that we do not see fading anytime soon.
Just when we thought we could not love Blake Shelton more, however, we read yet another super sweet thing about him. His better half, Miranda Lambert, shared with People Magazine (you can read the whole article here) this bit of info:
“He [Blake] said, ‘I have never had a problem with any way you look at any point – you are beautiful to me at any size and every size,’ ” she [Miranda] explained.
Can we get a collective “Aww!” right now?
Guys… take notes! These are the kinds of things that make us girls very happy.
We’re also taking applications for Blake Shelton clones.
Oh Blake, Blake, Blake…Thanks for saying what we’re all thinking. It’s no secret that the Westboro Baptist Church has made Blake Shelton its latest target and Blake isn’t taking it lying down. He recently waged war on the “church” on Twitter, but yesterday, he made his feelings all the more clear.
In this video, obtained by TMZ, Blake is captured leaving Usher’s Birthday Bash with some candid words for the hate-spewing organization. Blake says, “Westboro Baptist Church can blow me…you can quote me on that.”
The lineup for George Jones‘ Tribute Concert at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena just got even bigger. In addition to an already packed lineup, it was announced today that George Strait, Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Eric Church, Reba McEntire and Alabama will also be performing at the November 22nd show.
“I am thrilled and honored that so many of George’s friends are coming to what would have been his last concert, but is not a fitting tribute,” says Nancy Jones. “George loved these artists and before passing had actually wrote letters to almost all of them.”
The new list of performers will join an already star-studded lineup that includes Alan Jackson, Dierks Bentley, Travis Tritt, Tanya Tucker, Josh Turner, The Oak Ridge Boys, Charlie Daniels, Jamey Johnson, Montgomery Gentry, Sam Moore, and others. All previously announced artists are currently being reconfirmed.
