The Voice finale for season 4 aired last night, and it’s a three-peat for Blake Shelton. The new Voice title went to Team Blake’s 16-year-old country singer, Danielle Bradbery.
Danielle was a favorite from early on in the competition. She consistently wowed the coaches and audience every week. The Voice was the first audition she ever had, but you would never know that watching her perform. She looked like a seasoned professional on the stage, and her top-notch vocals seemed effortless. Danielle has “it”… we are going to see a lot of her in country music!
Coach Blake has won the last three seasons of The Voice. We love getting to see Shelton mentor the contestants and help navigate their careers. He really is so wonderful with his team, and he truly sticks with them once the show is over.
It also happened to be Shelton’s birthday yesterday and I think the win was a pretty awesome present!
Fellow Team Blake members, The Swon Brothers, came in third place. Zach and Colton are on great duo and I think they are going to be very successful as well. I am still blown away by their version of “Danny’s Song.” It’s a must download from iTunes if you have not grabbed it yet.
I also want to recognize Team Usher member, Michelle Chamuel, who finished as the runner-up. She was so great this season as well and what a humble and gracious personality.
I truly think this was the best season of The Voice thus far. The talent was excellent, and Usher and Shakira were perfect additions for our two favorite guys, Blake and Adam.
Congratulations to Danielle and Blake, as well as The Swon Brothers & Michelle! We wish you all continued success with your music careers!
Until Season 5, Voice fans…

Country stars just keep on giving this week to help the victims of an Oklahoma tornado. Miranda Lambert‘s own Muttnation Foundation was asked by the Oklahoma state government to lend some help with displaced pets in the area following a devastating EF5 tornado in Moore, Oklahoma.
